I actually thought the opposite following the release of the rankings. SMU moving up so high and Clemson ahead of Bama almost guarantees they are going to put 2 ACC teams in the CFP leaving the SEC only 3 spots.

I'll concede that point to you, it didn't make sense to me then since we had a win against Ole Miss and the H2H but youre right the committee did put then ahead of us. It will be interesting to see what they do if all 3 teams win this weekend.

If not this year it’s clearly showing that they can possibly get in with 3 losses but let’s just say they loss to just Oklahoma and Vandy. Do they still deserve to play for a title? Hell no. 12 teams is too much, and they will do whatever they can to get big name teams in to create revenue. Let it be between Bama a some other team getting in and you will hear “Well Bama has the best quality win on the year so that was the deciding factor”. Meaning Bama brings in the most tv revenue ladies and gents

I was thinking after they lost to an unranked Vandy and fell to 9, that they would have to lose 3 times to be knocked out.
It appears to be 4 loses and they're out now.

"Eye-test" means that Bama can be in the Playoffs even with 3 losses, IMHO.

No team should ever be in with 3 losses and that’s why 12 teams is stupid in my opinion

They will butt stomp all but 1/2 of the teams in the playoff .
Half of those teams that played a sec schedule this year would be close to the playoff picture.

Well I spent months on here arguing with multiple clowns explaining exactly why a 12 team playoff is a complete joke. Congrats this proves my point the regular season doesn’t mean shite until some teams have 3 losses already then they are actually playing for their playoff lives. Should have never been more than about 6-8 teams. No team with 3 losses deserves to play for a national title period

They are already expanding to 14 and I doubt it stops there. Many 3 loss teams, especially the big brand name ones, will make the playoffs yearly which is ridiculous. It should never have expanded past 8.
