I would tell those guys be careful because once you create that sword for him, he’ll also be able to use it on you

Yes. To me this entire thing is animated by emotion and personalities…on the part of the SEC

The SEC doesn’t have the same power as the state of Louisiana.

If this passes it's the first shots fired in a non NCAA Super Conference war

1. The B1G commissioner, unlike Sankey, actually has some control of the asylum. He won’t want to bring in what will be viewed as a renegade problem, whether or not that’s an unfair view.
2. Like it or not, every team in the B1G is miles ahead of LSU, academically, and the conference actually prides itself on high academic achievement.

They wont have a vote unless they know what the votes are
And LSU will find out in discovery how the SEC knew how people were voting before the meeting.

Kind of hoping that happens. They can’t arbitrarily apply their own rules.

Again, these players aren’t rostered. And frankly life looks a lot different if we are kicked out of the SEC. We would have to play ball with the B1G.

“We didn’t come here to play school”
This is about revenue from football, period.

Or they boot us and then the SEC has to deal with a Big 10 school smack in the middle of their geographical footprint.
B1G ain’t taking a majority Catholic, less than exclusive academic institution

Not sure what calothicism has to do with anything. But Nebraska isn't exactly academically stellar.

Since we know Sankey is colluding with other schools, it will either be a unanimous yes for expulsion or they won't have a vote.
I agree. Also, he won’t have any vote unless he knows he can win. That would be a disaster from a PR standpoint.

It’s why ND never received an invite.
