doubtful, not with our head to head drubbing of UGA. That's why LSU, not UGA, is projected to go the Sugar Bowl if they win out, assuming UGA loses to Alabama in the SECCG.
I do, however, agree that A LOT has to happen, meaning multiple conference champs with at least 2 losses, for us to have a shot at making the playoffs. I don't think it would have to get as crazy as it did in 2007 but it would have to be close.

Making that playoffs is better than not making the playoffs regardless of what happens when you get there. Just like making the NCAAT in basketball is better than winning the NIT. Simply making the CFP is a huge accomplishment and much better than making a good bowl and winning it. It means we were in a position to play for a national title.

You might have a point but I honestly do not think that even if we win out we'll make it. And honestly I would hate to see getting embarrassed again on national tv. A Sugar bowl bid would look more enticing for me.

It would be 4 games without a TD against Bama. Not sure if I could stomach another shutout.

Hey if the chips all fell that way, and LSU finds itself in the #4 spot. Hell yeah, geaux Tigers. And even better if we get to play Alabama, you can't tell me our players don't want some kind of redemption, especially on offense. An Alabama rematch would give us everything to gain, and nothing to lose. Expectations would be us getting blown out again anyway. But this team has something to prove for the rest of the year, it's not over yet.

well, one thing I can say for sure is LSU should jump a two loss UGA team. Should and would are two different things though.
