The worst part of this defense is our offense...

This is the second best offense in LSU history. Jayden Daniels is a bona-fide Heisman contender (if we somehow winout from here on out). This team reminds me of 2013 but dialed to 11 on offense and -1 on defense. This must be how Oklahoma felt with Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray... If we had even a middle of the pack sec defense we would be outscoring opponents by 20-30ppg. It feels like such a fricking waste watching our offense METICULOUSLY DISECT every defense we play, just for us to bust a coverage for a touchdown or miss 5 tackles for a 40yd run on defense... Dammit this sucks...

The offense wasn’t elite in the 4th quarter when it mattered most.
ETA: The only thing getting DISSECTED was Daniels in critical third down sacks.

To be perfectly honest, they were far from elite in the first quarter, too.

We might lose by 3+ TDs if Nuss was the starter.
He has potential but he’s not on JD5’s level. Realistically it’s unlikely he putting up 49 points…
Let’s go back to the Mississippi state game where he over threw the receiver in the flat by 20 yards…

I think it is time to alter the offensive play calling to keep the defense off the field. Burn clock with the run game, tell WR's to slide and not go out of bounds..
You have to try everything to keep the D off the field.
With Mizzou I would run the ball like crazy, and give the Mizzou Offense as little time as possible.

With even decent play on our defensive side we’re sitting on the ball and winning by 2 or 3 touchdowns. This isn’t in offense.

The only real bad play Jayden made was fumbling on a tackle in the redzone, he's done that what? 2 times in e years?
Jayden is on pace for 4800 all purpose yds and 46 all purpose touchdowns. He's top 5 in total yards, yards per attempt, touchdowns, passer efficiency, and expected points per game. Literally every stat that matters for a qb.
We lost because of defense.

Dude, LSU's offense is 4th ranked nationally.
Daniels is 2 in individual total offense at 2002 yards
Thomas is 1 in receiving TDs
Nabors is 2 in receiving yards.
This offense is great by every metric except in rantards minds

Defense doesn’t have to be perfect just a couple stops a game and offense can handle the rest
