The West Weeks penalty may have been the difference in the game

Yes we played like shite but that stupid play by weeks was a back breaker. As with most close losses a few plays going the other way can completely change the outcome of the game. He should be benched for that one for at least a half.

It was followed up by an offsides and two DPI to move them down the field.

It clearly frustrated his teammates and they lost composure on that drive.

Nuss’s int at their 30 was a turning point -we were up 7-0 could have been 10-0 at the least

Exactly. He has a bad habit of pushing on the ball carrier (QB) at the end of the play.

That, the Pickett PI and the Nuss interception. LSU could (and should) have been up either 20-3 or 24-3 at halftime.

Agreed. Another key bonehead play. And it was on first down.

Oh cool...Maybe we would have got another ricochet for a touchdown.

the Pickett PI
The INT doesnt even happen without him pulling the WR out of the way.

The Weeks penalty bailed OM out of having 3rd and 20 backed up near their own end zone

I posted on the Scoreboard last night an interesting observation. UGA had Bama inside their own 10 and did the same exact thing to Ty Simpson… guess what, NO CALL.

While I agree he should not have done it but that push/shove happens all the time and almost never gets called.

This was not a close loss. I don’t care what the score says. LSU got their asses kicked. & it wasn’t because of a penalty

He still could have gotten it. Would have at least been a PBU.

If Nuss had thrown the ball 10 yds deeper it was 6. The deep receiver was behind the coverage and wfo

Disagree. Pickett and the WR were both locked up. The WR did a great LeBron esque flop job to sell the contact.

Don’t we have pick 6 called back a few plays after that?

For a marginal at best PI call?

And even after that, the offense had the ball multiple times in plus territory and did jack shite with it.

It's comical how bad he played

No they were both pushing and shoving.

DBs have gotten away tied much worse.

Hell on that long pass down the sideline to Hilton, he was being tackled and they didn’t call PI

It would have been 3rd and 12had it not happened. If we would have held them we probably get the ball near midfield. The truth is only gaining 254 yds. against a team giving up 336 a game is unacceptable. Kentucky had 360 yds. on the defense.

I'm tired of this staff trying to get all 3 Weeks brothers on the field at once because it would be a great story instead of trying to win games.

I could have swore we got a fumble recovery to offset that interception later in the game.

When a team almost doubles their offensive plays to your team, that team generally wins the game. For LSU to have only lost by less than a TD is a clear indicator how solid our defense is.

The OL is killing us!! Without a run game it hurts big time.

Na, the offense was the reason LSU lost. Everything on defense, the longer they are on then field, is going to be "magnified" every mistake that happens because our offense is literally shite and does nothing to help the D.
