? We had the lead, what you want to do is milk the clock down until you run your set then try to score with as little time left as possible. That gives them 1 chance and puts a lot of pressure on them. You don’t want to take an early shot, this is clock management 101 cmon now.

Oh, I'm in agreement with you, Madking. I hated Tremont's decision, but I'm just not completely bothered by the aggressive approach, if that's what Wade wanted to do.
Anything other than an offensive rebound by Arky would give us the ball back, either to make a winning shot or hit game-clinching FTs.

Not calling a timeout was insane.
They had multiple opportunities to do so too.
You could tell it was way too chaotic at that point and there was still plenty of time..
Call the timeout with possession and regroup.

The Waters pass was not a thought out, planed tactical move. It was just a one second brain fart. Get over it. We shouldn't have been 16 points down. The hogs played very well. Let's go play the next game.

Kids came out flat in the first half. They were leaving shooters wide open, getting beaten to the spot on defense and bad rotation gave up easy dunks. All of that is on the coaches to get fixed either in practice or call a timeout and fix it. That doesn't mean Wade is a coach, but if the team isn't ready to win, that's on him.

Let's not pretend Arkansas didn't shoot an insane percentage tonight though, and some of those shots were contested. I'm not saying LSU played great defense all night, but Arkansas brought their A++ game, and we brought our C- game. And we still should have won. That's how talented this team is.

I agree with you completely.
We've come out slow a few times lately. IMO, that is on the coaches and I believe it will be addressed and fixed. But, when it happens that is coaching to me no matter who the coach it is.

Maybe the L will end up being a positive. This team may have been feeling a bit too comfortable, like they could turn it on whenever they wanted and still win. They turned it on tonight, but came up short. Hopefully we see 40 minutes of focus from here on out.

I totally understand not calling a timeout. We had a good rhythm going. The pass was a fricking terrible decision, hindsight or not.
