It should NOT be... But its just a hunch that LSU will be coming off two very hard-hitting and competitive games against two SEC teams..Then they go North with the mindset of being able to blow Cuse out... Werent we supposed to dominate Troy @ home and were behind 31-3 late in the third quarter????? Sure we won the game but don't tell me a close game can't happen... Now if it was the second game of the year after toasting McNeese I would say sure it would be no contest..... But those two SEC games could make a huge difference in how the team performs ESP IF they happen to lose to AU the week before... That's the kind of intagibles I am talking about......

Careful, last time we played 'em Doug Moreau had to kick a game winning field goal with about 4 minutes left to squeak by.

No, the last time we played them (1988), they kicked our arse 23-10 in a game that wasn't as close as the score indicated.

I was more disappointed in that game that year then I was the Miami blowout..... Just like the Baylor Bowl that game was horrible....

I'm pretty sure the OP was referring to the back-to-back games against Miss St and Auburn. Not the season opener against McNeese. But LSU should still beat them easily.

We won't have trouble with Syracuse. Problem is we might be 1-2 heading into that game

If this game was outdoors and late in the season, maybe. Strange things happen to southern teams when they go north to play.

But this is early, and in a dome. LSU cruises.

LSU will be 4-0 after that game in Syracuse. I don't care whether LSU plays that bunch in NY, BR, or on the median of I-10, LSU will beat them by 3 TDs.

Cuse is really bad.
If LSU struggles in that game than they will be 0-2 in sec prior to it

The famous notion that les miles teams play down to competition yet he has never lost a regular season out of conference game despite playing like 10+ out of conference ranked opponents and only 3 have been close.....Arizona state, Wisconsin, and Washington

It should be a 45-7 type game...But The Cuse will play LSU tough....Plus LSU under Miles plays down to the competition.....I see something like 31-23 LSU....Fanbase will not be happy......

Dumbass alert.

Anyway, they bring back zero experience on the DL, and it will be our 4th game of the year after a win against Auburn at home

I believe we rush for over 450 yards. Fournette puts up a Melvin Gordon type game (20 carries 250 yards 4 TDs) and we win by 35-45 points. Cuse has no offense (116th in ypg, 121 in ppg in 2014), and definitely no defense. They are losing a shite ton on defense. They are saying it will be their biggest defensive rebuilding job since 1992. They were saying that before they just lost their last lineman with any experience.

What the OP means, and he's not far off, is that after two SEC games, we immediately go on the road far away for an OOC game against a crappy team, and we may have a big emotional let down.

Of course we're much better than Syracuse and should roll, but a lot of Ranters don't factor in the emotional component of college sports.

Nobody gives a shite about this game, myself included, and if the team feels the same, that's dangerous. They'll be sky-high for us, and we don't care. Potential bad combination. But if our head is in the right place, we roll.

Yes I have done some homework on them.. They are young and replacingalot... But yet again my previous post went unread.... I guess you think we will be fine as wine after two routs of both MSU and AU... LSU will be beat up a bit when they go to CUSE. You don't know much about football and the intangabiles so I will give you a pass...

Again, quit being a dumbass. If your team is tired and beat up after an FCS opponent and 2 conference games, you do not need to be playing football at the FBS level. The fact that you even pose such nonsense tells me you are either being a got damn troll, or becoming senile.
