For anyone saying this game will be tough, just take a look at cuse's game last year against florida state. We tend to stay around for a quarter or 2, then lose it after the 2nd half.

Was fun having marching band in there in August with no A/C...

In any case, I'm really looking forward to the game. It's been 2 years since I've been back to my alma mater and love that area in the fall. I'll be flying up to DC on Thursday, driving up on Friday to party, then gameday, and fly home sunday night. If people are interested I can do another airfare thread to buffalo, rochester, syracuse, binghamton, etc. (I actually just booked my tickets today).

You need to move to vegas with all this knowledge.........

Fournette puts up a Melvin Gordon type game (20 carries 250 yards 4 TDs)

Miles won't let him get that many carries........ Plus Cuse isn't as bad as Mcneese and LSU wont beat them like that......

Unless it's a basketball game it will be a cake walk. I wish that was a stipulation in the contract that we'd play yall in football of yall return the favor in basketball. Same with Wisky. Get a big basketball game out those schools as well.

Again, quit being a dumbass. If your team is tired and beat up after an FCS opponent and 2 conference games, you do not need to be playing football at the FBS level

You must not follow how tough the SEC can be... I am gonna have fun with you this year homer... Why even play the season at all. the way you talk they may as well give LSU the crystal ball today..........

The fact that you even pose such nonsense tells me you are either being a got damn troll, or becoming senile.

No I am just not a P & G glasses wearing blind homer... I have seen some of your predicitions in some other posts...You are setting yourself up for a huge letdown and I will be there to tell YOU how the real dumbass is......

Who cares, we are going to run slap over them he may only get 15 carries, but he walks out of there with no less than 150 yards and 3 TDs

What does Troy in 08', have to do with Cuse in 15'?

LSU will play Miss St with a new defense. They will then go home and play Auburn before they have any time to get set. Do you not remember 2013? That's it.

The Troy game was late in the year, after Alabama. We have off games a lot after the Bama game, but never against weak opponents like them early in the year. Even in 2011 when we played Oregon and MSU before WVU. West Virginia was actually a good team, and we trampled them.

You're comparing unranked MSU and possibly top 10 Auburn against 5 straight weeks of @ #1 UF, @ USCe, ranked UGA at home, Tulane, then top 10 Alabama at home. That Troy team was 6-3 when it played us. It was ranked 35th in total defense, 33rd in scoring defense, 27th in total offense, and 26th in scoring offense.

I hate when you get on here shooting off without having any research to back up your nonsense.

Those were two completely different scenarios.

Mullen has done a pretty good at recruiting... They have Prescott and the mojo of beating LSU last year....... You make it look like LSU will roll through MSU like butter... And as far as AU they wil put huge pressure on the LSU QU just like last year... And they WILL score at least 20 on LSU even in Tiger Stadium.............

Leave miles in New York if we lose that game

I compared it to a game we won 34-9. I never said we'd lose or even have a possibility of losing. But considering it's up north after a brutal 2 games we might come out sluggish. Like we did against Tulane in 2007.

Beat up after three games?? Nah.... LF is a freakn man and won't be worn after 3 games, and then it's on a field that's built for speed. LF alone wins this game. He will be out to prove a point against those northern teams aka ND even though he had a great game against them. No way we are caught off guard but I see your point. 35-10 worst case and 49-10, most likely.

Dude if Brandon Harris plays even decent this year the Tigers will be extremely hard to beat and even if he plays slightly better than last year we will be in every game bc of our defense and the way we run the FB. We will not be blown out this year. If Harris has a good year we may lose. 1 maybe 2 games if we are unlucky. This may be the year the ball bounces our way. Off topic but just want to mention Boutee is a freakn beast of a man on the OL this year! Have y'all seen this guy??? He looks like that OL that played for Dallas back in the 90's can't remember his name but he will maul people this year!! Go Tigers!!

Where did I say they would run through either of those teams?

MSU doesn't have any mojo. That's like saying we had mojo when we stomped them 59-26 the year prior. They beat LSU last year when we were at our worst, big deal. They lost all that experience on defense, most of their OL, and their RB. You remember the one that went for nearly 200 on us last year? Yeah, that one. We play them game two, and they won't have any time to put anything in place. Playing a team at different points in the season can be an advantage, or disadvantage. We have the advantage on both MSU and Auburn.

In a prediction thread I had us winning by 11 against MSU. Their recruiting is great for MSU standards, but don't kid yourself. They lose way too much and play us way too early. They have Prescott and his WR corps so they should do some damage through the air, but not enough to win.
