This incident and the clearly intentional flop need to be talked about way more. That flop was worse than the Auburn one. How does a team get away with something so obvious?

Somehow these flops need to be addressed. Sit them the rest of a quarter or half, fine the school after film review, something. This going down like a sniper took them out has to stop.

It can’t be taken as nothing else but intentional...he tried to act like “what did I do wrong” when the flag was thrown...every damn player knows damn well you can’t grab by the collar from behind and Joe was running straight out of bounds there was absolutely no reason to even lay a hand on him and this goes for any QB on any team on a play like that...

I think a lot of people look at things from the perspective of the fans. It was the first play and the dude was playing hard.

Just watched the play and replay again. Madubuike dives for Burrow (who is acting as a runner on the play) while Burrow is inbounds and grabs Burrow's collar. Madubuike also grabs Burrow's legs inbounds. Flag thrown. Obviously a penalty, but nothing dirty. Madubuike had 2 TFL and 1.5 sacks. He's a beast.
Cheaper shots on Burrow were available for A&M if they intended to injure him.

I dont think you will see the NCAA or conferences move on this, at least not a penalty or force sit out situation during the current game. Could you imagine the backlash if it is enforced on an actual injured player.
Now, Mascona had an interesting idea. Fine the AD after the fact on video review. Nobody likes to lose money.
