Do you really not understand what he meant? He isn't saying he is enjoying that it's his last chance

You can’t explain things to dumb asses who try to twist your words in order to make themselves sound better
quote:

The fact that you'd suggest that he go to work for LSU alumni, "without a degree" suggests that you don't believe that he is capable of earning an honest living outside of relying on his background as a football player.

Eh.
quote:

He can still get his degree without issue

I hope he does! Or if football is truly over for him, maybe find a good job at a company in Houston. I’m pretty sure there are some LSU alumni who own businesses in Houston that would hire him without one.
I’d like to think that because he’s been cut from every professional type of football there is. Well almost every type. .... The types that people would actually watch
quote:

Why would you like to think that.

He went to the NFL in May 2018 and was out of the league by December of t That same year He hasn’t gotten back on an NFL roster even a practice squad since then. He played in the AAF but that closed up shop, maybe if the AAF were still up and running he would still be playing there?

And also I mean the XFL..... He got cut from there so I don’t really know where else he could play unless he tries out for the CFL

It’s not hard to find an example of what a difference a year makes. But who knows.

Ummm... Literally Joe Burrow

Toby Weathersby cut from XFL

Hate it for him.

But I’d like to think the XFL was his last chance with any type of professional football career.

LOL Moss isn’t going anywhere
If Rashard Lawrence left last year, he would’ve been a 6-UDFA
quote:

The broader point is an extra year of college does not guarantee him a longer career. $100,000 is more than enough to continue is education for he could stay and get his degree crowd

Like many other people in this thread have said, “ Joe says hello”
This is what’s on your mind at 7 o’clock in the morning?
quote:

If, as a college junior you would have offered me a spot to make a team that would pay the league minimum of $450k? I would have left in a heartbeat. In 34 years of working I’ve never made $450k in a year....with a degree.

The point is he didn’t even stay on the squad or practice squad. If you look at his career earnings he has only made $100,000 in the NFL
I mean the fact that he got cut from the XFL says a lot
I think he would’ve benefited from another year and possibly would’ve gone mid round.

I think he would still be on an NFL roster or at least the practice squad. He was in and out of the NFL in a matter of months last year
just got word that Toby Weathersby has been cut from the XFL team that originally drafted him.

I can almost guarantee that if he had stayed his senior year, he would probably still be in the NFL right now. But now it looks as if his football career professionally is over. At least for now. I just hate when juniors leave early when they could really benefit from staying an extra year and also obtaining their degree.

I just wanted to rant sorry.
Other than him trying out for the Redskins a couple of months ago, has there been news on him?

Last I heard he was at the Houston XFL showcase but I don’t think he’s gotten an draft invite...at least not yet.

Really wished he would’ve stayed for his senior year. If he did I think his NFL career would still be going on right now
