...seriously. What a snub for Wing. Not even a finalist. I guess you have to be a Sophomore or older...

Ryan Allen isn't getting multiple articles written about him in national papers.

No he didn't. If you haven't seen Ryan Allen in action and I'm guessing you haven't, you're talking out of your arse.

Ryan Allen isn't from a different country and doesn't play for a team that just went undefeated, won the sec and is playing in the national championship game.

Well...I guess ESPN has a weak football IQ as well. They listed Wing as the 'biggest snub' for the award...

His return average will probably NEVER be equaled...much less surpassed. I realize that Allen's a great punter, but his average return pales to Wing's!

Talk about a snub, the biggest snub in the history of professional football is the NFL's continued refusal to vote Ray Guy into the pro-football hall of fame. He used to hit the Superdome's ceiling.

I am not intending to diminish your feelings about Wing, who is outstanding. And we are gonna need him on Jan 9.

It's decided by a bunch of people just reading stats and not watching games.

NO!!!!!! I'm a little biased but the most deserving punter won tonight......LSU peeps got to realize that there's incredible football talent in the state that ISN'T at LSU. Wing will have his time, but not this year.

No doubt that Wing will need to be at his best on the 9. Speaking of the punting game, on the 9...after TM7's returns in the SEC championship game...do yall think that Bama will punt to Tyrann? With him being pumped...and looking at that last return...I'm thinkin they'd be crazy to put the ball in his hands. Will be interesting.

No!!! Shitty team.
Wing didn't have the same opportunities as Allen.
Allen's average is 2 yards more with 28 more punts.

How many Ray Guy "moments" did Allen have? This award is a stats award only award so based on that I guess Allen deserves to win, but when Wing gets voted to every All-American team we will know who the nation's top punter really is.
