So declaring for the draft is all that it takes go be a pro? Got it. I wonder all those people that declared for the draft and never made it on a roster consider themselves pros.
Please enlighten me on what a full professional only camp for a few weeks entails and what advantage would it give any college player?
HS players have rules and ages to follow. They can’t graduate early and then come back. That's the rules the states have.
The NCAA has rules as well and you do have decision and are bound by them. However they changed the rules and included the 22 class that says they have a year left. If they would have had this option in Feb, they may not have decided to sign a player to “become a pro athlete” thays the arguement that so many of you miss

I agree with this, and for at least this one year, the players should have the choice of returning for a 5th year or staying with the pros. These young men are being denied the ability to earn a living, and that isn't going to fly in the courts anymore.

It is laughable that these tight asses on here think that colleges athletes aren't paid.....and then they shite their pants because..... NFL players.
These players that were fricked out of a legitimate opportunity to prosper in the same manner as others have been allowed to do deserve to be made whole and if the precious school Presidents and conference execs can't see how wrong and hypocritical that they are then college sports really does need to be blown up.

I agree with this. It’s kind of like everything else in the world today. Everyone get emotional and starts sky screaming like this will set a precedent to let kids that leave for the draft and play in the NFL for 10 years to return for their 5th year. It’s a matter of this one class not knowing they had that 5th year when they left. Thays the part they are missing and making into something it’s not. It’s also funny a lot of those people don’t have an issue of a 6 year player going against the SEC and NCAA. Maybe the sec should makes rules about that. Choose what you get offended over and it will show bias.
