This is not a PETA issue. The vet school idiots just can't or don't know how to get him in the stadium tiger cage (Never been a problem until recently) and the LSUAD idiots will not do what they ask in regards to the lame fireworks.
BTW, why don't they pop off the fireworks from atop one of the Lego Blocks/FEMA Trailers in the South End instead of down on the field? Makes more sense.

I'm on the 'fireworks are lame' bandwagon. Every school shoots them. I can go buy a pack of Black Cats, and shoot them tonight. Whoopdeedoo!
On the other hand, we are one of the only schools in America with a live siberian tiger as a mascot, so parade him around the stadium, and put him in front of the visitors' entrance, damn it. To hell with the fireworks.

This whole thread, and similar ones that pop up two or three times a week, are ate up with the redneck. Live mascots of any kind are rare for a reason, especially something as wild as a Tiger. It's a different world, and all the Rant's herp-derping won't change that. People don't think parading a wild animal around in a tiny cage is "cool," anymore, they think it's sad and barbaric.
Getting this tiger was a fluke. When he's gone, it's very unlikely we'll have another one. Try to see the big picture for once in your ignorant lives, and let him reside in his habitat in peace.

I used to work for the Tiger Care team, that cat isn't going to be made to do it. Just leave him alone, better yet blow up the AD's inbox asking why fireworks are more important than mike?
