If getting rid of the fireworks means getting Mike back into the stadium on game days, I see no problem. Fireworks aren't great anyway.

Agree with everything except this. They didn't spend the kind of money they did on a habitat for it to be empty.

I don't EVER remember seeing fireworks at tiger stadium. I could be wrong though.

I remember them as early as 2009 for the Florida game ... not sure if they did them before OR regularly afterwards but I do remember that game (was my mom's first game ever in TS).

Have you been to a game in the last 5-6 years?

Time put him down and get a new cat

Put a live goat in the cage and let Mke at it. Then parade him around the stadium while he's eating.

Just tell them to tone it down a little. All you really need are sparklers and snakes

Just force the stupid fricking cat to get in the trailer. It's a fricking animal. shite.

Give a choice between having Mike or fireworks in Tiger Stadium, I choose Mike.

It's simple really. He doesn't have the want. Miles could get him in the cage.

Last season he was in the stadium and fireworks were set off near him.
The cage is pulled off the field by the time the team comes out of the chute. That's when the fireworks go off. I don't understand how they are saying he was nearby when they were lit up. Something doesn't seem right about this story. I would also think but don't know that he has to be out of the tunnel to allow room for the visiting team to exit the locker room. By "nearby" maybe in the vicinity of the stadium which is habitat is anyway.

The firework argument is complete bull shite. Once they stop the fireworks the caretaker will have some other bull shite excuse.

He's paraded around the stadium before the team comes out and then parked in front of the visitor's chute. Football team runs out before the visitors so he is there when the "fireworks" are set off.

I don't know the particulars, but first off, if that's the case,
1) move Mike as far aware from them as possible (or move where they shoot them off from) and
2) I can think of engineering solutions that could be implemented to the cage itself that would damper the sound - used when the fireworks go off and removed when they are done....
C'mon Man!
I'm willing to help with finding those solutions if that means we will get Mike to the game.

What makes you think that? Look at the PMAC.
It's quite possible this is the last tiger - and no doubt it would be if we start freaking him out by forcing him to get into a tiny cage and paraded around 100,000 screaming drunk Cajuns.
It's not easy getting tigers anymore, you don't just call up the Nairobi Walmart and order one.
He's a 500 pound wild apex predator, for chrissakes, he's pretty much going to do what he wants to do.
