Let’s be clear Les Miles will NOT change his philosophy. That being said it will work much better in the big 12. His philosophy of run it down your throat over and over again does not work against d lines in the SEC. But Also remember he doesn’t have the talent pool that he had at LSU. I think he can have success early but he’s not winning any thing serious. Kansas will be an above average team in a below average conference.

I hope he does well and changes his ways because he is a class act. Only best of wishes for him but let’s be clear Kansas isn’t going to be a legit contender ever under Les.

How do you know?

Maybe he's learned from his mistakes.

Can we just leave the man alone and let him coach his new team?

Les was not so conservative at Oklahoma state. He was that way at LSU because he usually had better talent than the opponent and could wear them down and pull away in the 4th quarter. And the defenses were always good enough to allow it. (The exception was Jarrett lee’s Freshman year when the defense was bad, he was forced to pass a lot more). I expect him to open things up at Kansas because they will have less talent than most opponents. Pooka is a pretty special talent so he will be featured as he should be.

Les Miles: He won’t change, he’ll struggle and prove to be the same guy.

Ed Orgeron: He’s grown so much, he’ll be a completely different coach.

Yeah exactly. “ He learned from his mistakes “ is widely accepted over here for another coach so why not Les?

No see unlike morons like you, I can call them both out. All you idiots think bashing les means I think orgeron is a god. It actually means I’m not a moron like half our fan base who thinks there are two sides. See there are some of us who just want LSU to win regardless of who the coach is and calls it like we see it.

Frankly they are both mediocre coaches and neither can win LSU a championship anytime soon.

Why do we have to be clear about this? Why can’t we just enjoy football without having to make sure everybody is “clear” on subjective information?

It’s so obvious which posters never saw his teams in Stillwater.

Hell, I question whether many of them saw his offenses in Baton Rouge before 2009.

No, but he might be able to shut em down, and keep the ball from them.

His philosophy worked very well for a long time. He led us to one of the best regular seasons in college football history and without question coached us during the golden years of LSU football.
