It's the day "Eye of the Tiger" Football returned,
It's the day that Bama and Saban, while still winning, said "Oh no, they are back"
It's the day when Coach O learned that we cannot meet program goals with an "ok game manager"
It's the day when Myles Brennan will begin his transition to being the LSU QB the SEC has been hoping we would never get.
It's the day when Coach O said "We're Comin".
All in all....It's the point of inflexion in returning the LSU program to a power that top-tier teams fear and respect.

Oh no, they’re back!

Let’s go ahead and take a knee on this possession.

Seriously, who the hell are you people?

This cannot be known until much later. Win out and the bowl convincingly. Open the season with a beat down of Miami, then we can discuss it.

How did it change? We lost by 14, last year by 10. Previous years by 7 on the last defensive stance, and another in OT.

The only reason that crap is being thrown around is because we didn’t lose by 50 like everyone thought.

Looks like the same shite, different year. We lost.

My gosh. We've scored a total of 10 points in 2 games vs Bama under O's leadership. That's an awful lot optimism for....well, really nothing.

It is the day we dropped outta the AP rankings
It is the day we were assured of no Championship
It is the day that felt a lot like 7 other days I have had in the past 7 years
It is the day a "L" was posted next to this game on the schedule results
It is the day we remembered that we can get elite players at ever position but QB

You realize that there is a very good chance we will be underdogs against Miami right? I'm not saying we can't win but I wouldn't be expecting a beat down. Miami could very well be a top ten or maybe even top 5 team at the beginning of next year.

Not seeing this either. Look at 2018. A tough schedule, and where are the playmakers on offense? Could be a long year. What are we looking at--2019 or 2020 before we are competitive again?

LSU moved the ball better than the last few years, yet Bama wasn't ever in any danger of losing that game.

Sure, Etling and Chark blew some plays that would have changed the game, but those missed opportunities happen EVERY frickING YEAR in this game.

Bottom line is that the gap between LSU and Bama is just as wide as it has been for the past few years.

fricking sucks.

It’s the day that LSU gave Bama it’s best shot and still lost by double digits.

Saban and Bama are not worried.

I’m proud of the way we played too but it is still a 14 point loss. Lot of positives from last night but pump the breaks just a bit.
