The problem isn't that Alleva didn't fire Wade in 2019, the problem is that he and F King Alexander had no control over anyone.
So now it’s Alleva’s fault for not “controlling” Wade?
This place was going crazy just for Alleva suspending Wade and now you saying he didn’t do enough…and still not Wade’s fault.

Is gone. He was fired a couple days ago.
What a dumb take

Ah that explains it

Joe Alleva clearly had his hands tied.
Remember the old Skip quote, "It's not your fault son, I never should have recruited you"?
JA never should have been hired as an AD. He had no ability, no influence, no power to do anything except ruin concessions and mess with gameday parking.
Good leaders find ways to get stuff done even if their hands are tied, or, they find a new job.
If JA's hands were this tied (and they may have been) yet he didn't leave just shows he's a pushover.

And we lost Saban and Radakovich with Skip at the helm. Chew on that.
Saban going to the NFL is not our fault. And there is no way you can justify firing your new coach because your old coach wants to come back.
Dan R got a promotion to a major AD job. You can't keep someone as an assistant if they want their own head gig.
This is a terrible post.

Skip made no effort to keep Saban. And well known that Nick didn't like Skip.
Saban's ego required him to try the NFL at some point. There was nothing Skip could offer him. Saban was a damn king in Louisiana, he could have gotten whatever he wanted.

Alleva was a clown and always had been going back to his Duke days. He made poor decisions and caved to fan and media pressure. Suspended wade at the beginning of all this for what? That ruined our tourney chances with our best team in a decade. Then the whole Miles fiasco. Now he claims he wanted to fire him but couldn’t. And follows that up by getting totally played by both Tom Herman and coach O. Basically he was incompetent on every level and now wants to blame everyone else.
Lsu (And Louisiana in general) has always had leadership problems outside of the mark emmert and possibly the Woodward eras.

From your previous post: D Rad was running the department and everyone in and out of the building new that. Made Skip look good and was simply waiting in the wings for Skip to move along. Particularly since Skip was a "political" appointee with NO business background. And he was more lost when Radakovich went to Ga Tech.

Saban was offered full control in Miami and he felt that was needed for true success. He did not have that entirely at LSU and should have.
The only ego involved was that of Skip wanting to be "the top guy".

Never said Wade wasn't to blame just said that this whole clusterfrick (basketball and football included) is a result of shitty leadership.
A good leader knows what his employees are doing and is actively tryong to get them the resources needed to accomplish their goals. A good leader puts a stop to things that could hurt the company (program) and/or the bottom line.
A good leader doesn't need fan approval to do anything. If Alleva believed Wade should have been fired in 2019, then he should have fired him. instead he caved to fan pressure and lost his job soon after.

This is revisionist BS with a weird goal of somehow blaming Skip for Saban wanting to coach in the NFL.

As bad as Aleva was, he wanted to fire Miles long before it actually happened. The emails showed that. The BOS wouldn't let him.

Do we forget the Texas A&M game where the fans basically wanted to keep Les Miles.
I'm still pissed about the moronic fans who wanted to keep that arse clown

I dinna like him. He is an arse to be sure.

Skip and LSU should have thrown stupid money at Saban but were too stupid to see that. The next two hires were straight up fools. Saban returns to the SEC to torment LSU. I do blame them for completely lacking vision AFTER they had swen what Saban could do. 100% on LSU leadership so-called. That’s how I see it.
