That's arguably even more worrisome. Do they just not trust/like Kelly?

Bingo. They may have not been asked to leave, but I guarantee Kelly has had plenty of conversations with the team about his vision for the program.

Maybe it is because there is no way this many people are dumb enough to believe a coach would run his talented young players off without knowing or seeing anything about them.

You talking about Max? Did I miss someone who’s actually good transfer?

Did you see how this LSU team competed against Bama this year? Well, if they COMPETE like that every game next year it will be a very successful season. If LSU have a competent QB, they will be in the hunt.

Go ahead and expect to be in the playoff hunt next year. All you’re doing is setting yourself up for massive disappointment while flaunting your stupidity and extreme homerism

They haven’t even had a practice so this flat out false. You think in a quick 10 minute introductory meeting Kelly told these guys all this? That’s simply not how it works. Culture change is done through the grind in the offseason. At this point nothing but pleasantries have been exchanged.

Do I believe Kelly will attempt to change the culture? Absolutely. But that process hasn’t started yet.

A change was made at head coach. The new guy is different than the old guy in both how he runs his program and personality. Some guy will naturally not like the change. They know it’s coming and are upset about it. O was “their guy”. I’ve been a part of a lot of changes in the corporate world. When it comes to business, you don’t necessarily have to work under someone for any length of time, or ever, to get a feeling on if you’ll like the new direction. That isn’t always the case. But sometimes it is. In this case, Kelly is quite a bit different than Ed Orgeron. These kids can see that. They’re not completely naive.

With recruiting & portal, this is pure opinion & speculation.

Coaching will be better as well.

"all these players"

- Landon Jackson (never played)
- Eli Ricks (hurts, but he wanted out at the beginning of the year)
- Brennan (wants to play his last year)
- Bug Strong (only has 1 year left, was down on the depth chart, and we have studs coming behind him)
- Koy Moore (got passed up on the depth chart)
- Max (shocked everyone)
- Deion Smith (has been rumored for weeks that he wants to go home to MS)

The only position we look thin in would be QB and we'll have Nuss and Howard if we don't get a transfer QB in.

It's not as dire as you think.

Not necessarily asking them to leave but if you think conversations aren’t being had you’re crazy. Some players aren’t hearing what they want to hear.

Transfer portal is a 2 way street my friend. LSU will benefit more from it than get hurt by it. We will bring in more guys for depth and may bring in a few starting caliber players.

No but they are being told the way it’s going to be now and they have a choice to make.

Mj sees the writing on the wall
New coach and walker will be the best Qb on campus in January, and he is a guy Bk recruited hard at Notre Dame.

As far as wr room I don’t expect Lsu to play 9 guys
We rotated the wr way to much.

And as far as commits dacoldest can go to Nebraska. He is not that impressive if you have ever seen him.

And max brother is a 210lbs tight end. I know he is a good receiver but he can’t block at that weight. A good Te is between 240-260

You MF’ers are showing exactly what why LSU has the worst fan base in college football.

Of course kids are gonna leave.

They chose LSU based largely on the coaching staff and the people who recruited them.

Either you want a program that is built for the long haul, which means growing pains and time, or you want the same shite we had the past two years.

STFU and let the man work. What a bunch of fricking no patience dumbasses.

The issue isn't patience. The issue is fans telling other fans how to think and feel about what is happening. I don't need any help, dude. I can see what's going on. I remember 2000. I also remember 2001 and everything that happened since. The signs of improvement will be clear as day to people who know football and who are longtime and true fans of this program. In the first year, it won't necessarily be measured in wins and losses. In my opinion, we are not in nearly as bad a shape now as we were in 2000.

Yeah next year LSU most likely has a worse record than this year. And all the people parading around right now will want Kelly fired. We have no depth and a few injuries at certain positions will lead to us playing walk ons.

everyone knows O left a disaster. Next year will take some lumps but the outlook will be bright.

How people dont see this is beyond me. Next year will be miserable. All these posters will want everyone fired, everyone. Every possession will be met with some kind of bullshite. I dont get on scoreboard in game threads now because 1) I have friends to talk to during games 2) it is a miserable bunch.

It will be worse next year.

Thank you. Speaking of that, I just realized BK will play UAB in year 1 just like Saban did, hopefully Kelly doesn't lost to them this time around.

Dramatic much? LSU will hit the transfer portal and get probably almost half their starters from it next year. This is how NCAA operates now. No more rebuilds every 4 years. It rebuild every year because everyone just go to the transfer portal.

No matter how shorthanded LSU is next year, it definitely will not be worse. We'll probably be a 3-4 loss team and they may add a transfer QB.
