I said it before and people drilled me for it. But it’s hard to sustain that kind of success throughout a season. We are finding out very early in SEC play that it isn’t going to be a cakewalk. Hopefully they can turn it around. Geaux Tigers!

The SEC isn’t going to be a cakewalk in baseball?

This is brand new information.

So we weren’t supposed to expect better pitching against lesser competition?

It’s one game. Realize this.
Pitching has not peaked

You want to be right *so* badly that you’re doubling down on this after one SEC game?

So after one game, you’ve ruled out the entire pitching staff of being able to-

1) rising to the occasion
2) “catch another gear” after getting punched in the mouth
3) be that mf dude when your number is called

You must not have dealt with much adversity in your life. Coming to the rant to spew your bs like there isn’t a hope left for this staff. Delete your account and go to bed.

Blue will squeeze some games and like last year, the team will adapt to SEC play.

After running the SEC gauntlet, LSU will still make it back to Omaha. And like last year, pitching will shine backed by timely hitting.

Are you telling me our stats against SEC teams aren’t going to be as good as against non SEC teams? That’s pretty wild, are you sure? Can you tell us how you figured that out?

Rightfully so. Not even 20 games played and you think LSU’s pitching has peaked.

Where do y’all come from?

Time to pack it in, boys. We've seen enough. After just one SEC game, this may be the shortest season yet!

Long season. I’m more concerned with hitting than pitching at this time. A lot of time to get things tweaked. Looking forward to watching how the season plays out.

If you didnt know this before the season even started, then you need to stick to football.

No way anybody here thought that the SEC was going to be harder than XAVIER and NORTH DAfrickINGKODA STATE.

Some of yall are some thirsty bitches that just have to have the "hot take" no matter how idiotic it makes you look.

As much as it can get worse than it was it can get better than it is.

We gave up a lot of hits in one SEC game. Don't jump to conclusions.

Our pitching is not even settled yet. We thought Hurd would be the Friday night guy. Then Holman seemed to take it. It may switch back to Hurd or several other talented guys. This staff is very talented and Holman just had a bad night. I dont think he will be giving up 10 hits every outing.

I trust CJJ to figure it out. Let's slow down on saying we peaked until we at least figure our how we are gelling together as a pitching staff.

Nah. There are times in baseball when hitters have a night. Throw in a couple of what should have been inning ending errors and it’s a bad night.
