The only way Alex Bregman gets the monkey off his back with the whole sign stealing debacle is if he hits 30+ HR’s again and Avg. .280+ He has to show that he really didn’t need to cheat to do what he did last year in terms of his hitting numbers. That’s the only way he salvages his name in all of this. He has to show it didn’t matter either way. If he only hits 15 HR’s next year and Avg .230 questions will be asked about how much his cheating contributed to his hitting numbers.

Wtf.

He had more homeruns (41) and a better avg (.296) last year (2019) than the he did the years they cheated (2017, 2018).

You're right...it's still waaaaay too early to determine if Alex Bregman is good at hitting a baseball.

Everyone “cheated” prior to 2019 and the mlb knew about it. They instituted a delay in all video feeds to the clubhouses going into 2019 season because of it. The only reason they came down so hard on the Astros is because the public found out about it and it was the Astros that were the team to be called out.

Newsflash, all baseball teams at all levels tries to steal signs. It is why the catcher does the sign between his legs and just does not hold up fingers for all to see.

Wah wah wah, that's all I hear from bitch arse baseball players.

Bunch of stupid little bitches making a mountain out of a molehill. Punish them for breaking the no video equipment rule and then make it improbable, nearly impossible to steal signs from the beginning.

It's not that fricking hard, but ok, let baseball keep losing fans and viewers every year instead of trying to make the league better and more exciting. That'll work in the long run for sure when they can sit back as the 5th league in the US because they stuck to tradition and unwritten rules

All defensive coordinators try and hear what play the offensive coordinator is calling. I guess it’s okay to get into their communication transmissions and hear what they are saying, right?

Completely agree - does his performance go down and was it truly an aid, or not

So punish them for breaking the video equipment rule and move the frick on. Don't sit there clutching pearls at the thought that someone will steal signs. All these bitch arse bull pen frickers do that all game long and then they act like "well, I never!"

Now, how about you develop a system where the catcher can communicate electronically with the pitcher. Easy, ear piece with the pitcher, catcher has a arm band with buttons and pushes the number of the pitch he wants and boom, the pitcher hears "1" in his ear and done. Changing pitchers? New guy has his own ear piece paired with separate arm band, catcher changes arm bands

Done. Now no one can steal signs
