Is the fact that we are loaded at the WR position, and fairly thin at RB talent for next season (unless CEH breaks out). Myles Brennan seems to be a naturally talented passer and it would be criminal not to abuse the talent we can sling the rock to. As for the defense, we’re locked and loaded with a solid group of players led by Coach Aranda.

Hopeful post, but maybe Coach O and Ensminger can prove us wrong, put up some points, and avoid the Music City Bowl.

Yeah everyone forget that Dave Aranda is going to be over there giving people fits. I’ve seen people projucting 5-7 and I know Dave’s not gonna let that happen.

Even if the offense turns out to be a complete disaster, we won’t lose more than 5 games. Defense wins championships!

Improved line play will help (although not retaining Clapp is problematic) both aspects of the offense.

I think Curry and Provens are both underrated - Provens, particularly, his size, and being an ATH held him back, IMHO. In both his case and CEH, both players will excel in space. Brossette and Curry look to be more every down runners.

Brossette really has not impressed during his time here so far. Maybe he can turn things around

Yeah I saw someone on here earlier talking us down for next year and then in the same post said top 5 D and offense ranked around 50. Sign me up for that!!

If he could hold onto the ball, he would be impressive AF, IMHO.

Don’t think that these guys don’t know when it’s their turn to shine. Williams stepped it up in spring practice last year because he saw that it was his turn. Hopefully Brossette can see that as well and capitalize.

I'm optimistic he's going to surprise us. I think he's looked decent in limited duty. I can't remember which game (maybe Syracuse?), but there was one game where he had some nice runs to get first downs and finish the game

His yard per carry average for his career is 6.7. He does only have 45 carries. How many yards per carry would you deem acceptable? He has been behind some pretty good backs, so I don't think you can really fault him yet for the low carry count. Let's wait and evaluate him after this next season.

Yep. I’m saying 8-4 or 7-5 on defense alone. Hopefully that allows Ed and Alleva’s exit without taking the program down with them.

Aranda's defense won't get tired next season. It is too deep to get tired.

I agree that 8-4/ 7-5 should be enough to make a coaching change, but I think Ed makes it to 2019 unless it’s a complete collapse. Too much dead money being paid to fired coaches.

Fact... If LSU had improved on our RZ/GL scoring TDs instead of FGs this year or if we had a decent FG kicker who made 90% of his FGs, LSU would have won every game except for State and Bama. That's something to think about.

LSU isn't as far off as people make it seem. We shouldn't have lost the state game as bad as we did either. Didn't have great team leadership at that point. Next year will be much different on that note.

I have confidence we gonna be alright!
The kind of Offense O promised never really surfaced with Canada. Canada's offense is not SEC material. It's just store dressing.
Now we gonna see a type Offense O promised. Gonna be fun to watch. Enslinger style!
