It was a STTDB message to the Bama fans.

It was questionable with the game on the line.

Here's my thing. The highlight of that play is getting a steal up 3 with 45 seconds left. That's the biggest part of the play, how you score the 2 points resulting from it is secondary. By going for an ally off the backboard you are risking something going wrong, however slight that risk is. It's unnecessary. You already made the pivotal play, don't waste it.

Have fun making a layup and chest bumping your teammates.

Fundamentally yes.

But that’s the nature of this team. They are confident, aggressive, and have fun.
I think it’s helped them win so many close games.
They don’t tighten up.

It’s not like easy layups were a guarantee today anyway.

But it was the dagger that ended that game. People headed straight for the exits after that.

We have some real cry babies on here! Get over it! Tremont has won more games for us than he has lost. Would you rather go back 2 years to before he got here and changed things? Do you really think this team of mostly freshmen would have been first place without his leadership and steady hand in games like the first A&M game when he kept us in it until everyone else woke up?

Their ability to play loose is an asset.

I thought that as well until I saw the replay. A Bama player was right behind Skylar to inbound when he came down. That said, I loved the play.
