Didn’t think it was bad for their first game. Could have been a blowout if FSU scored off the two muffed punt receptions. LSU outplayed but lost by only one point.

While you're not wrong, your reasoning isn't correct either. There definitely were multiple times Daniels saw ghosts and ran out of a perfectly good pocket, but it's not like FSU has a great defensive line. They are not good right now, and a quick passing scheme is designed to negate a strong pass rush, deep zone drop backs, and/or a bad offensive line.

This is false. The would be tying touchdown was to his third read. As were several other passes.

Bro what game did you watch? He was 26-35 (74%) with 2 TD no picks and that with Boutte having 2 drops in the end zone and 4 total drops.

Incorrect. They are not good. Unless things turn around really quick, SEC defensive lines are going to eat this LSU OL alive.

The right side of the line is the issue. Dellinger had one terrible snap and another couple questionable ones but he blocked well.

If you can trust one side of the line to do their job you can help out the other side with the TE and RB.

chicken or the egg.

You have it backwards. Daniels had to run BECAUSE the defense flushed him out of the pocket.

I agree, did Campbell make a few mistakes of course he did he is a true freshman. I thought he looked better than any other lineman we have. I felt JD had happy feet which is somewhat understandable but flush out of pocket and keep your eyes down field instead of immediately running. I also thought we should always run tempo that is what most players these days know.

For a total of 25 yards....wowser. Gonna be a long season without a solid running game.

If Boutte is the main target and he isn't looking back at the QB, like that exhibition on the goal line that the pass hit him in the body between defenders...a sure TD with any other receiver on the team, then what is the QB supposed to do.
Burrow always said if his receiver was looking at him and the defender wasn't, he threw it trusting his receiver to make the play. Daniels was not afforded that luxury with Boutte's play last night. Change or play Bech full time.

Wire sucks donkey dick. Was absolutely horrible.

Booger called the LSU oline a sieve at halftime as I recall. He's right you know...

And there's obviously a reason for that. They got stuffed every time they tried.

uh, Goodwin ran for 11 yards on back to back runs on the very first drive

LSU didnt hand the ball off again until 5 min into the 2nd qtr. How is that evidence of getting stuffed?

Cam Wire should not be starting

There needs to be some shuffling on that right side

Get Shorts out there

I agree about the system for different reasons. The guy had uncovered WRs running free all night and never looked at em. I don’t mean he’s incapable of making a throw but he can’t throw because he doesn’t play the position correctly. You can’t drop him back 52 times and expect to beat good teams, they have to use his legs by design not by scramble.
