Always preferred college. Last few years of NFL I gave up on the league. They have a horrible product.

I was so disgusted with the non call in the playoffs last year I made a conscious effort to not watch until the playoffs. Now I feel like I have “kicked” my nfl habit.
May tune in every once in a while, but not the must see TV like I used to feel. LSU/college football is enough. I’ve enjoyed the extra time frankly

I have not really cared for NFL in a long time. It just does not have the same energy IMO. I think the whole kneeling stuff put the nail in it for me.

College sports in general I enjoy. The pros only play for the money which I cant blame them. These college kids play with passion and it's so entertaining to see.

How is that the best Sunday for LSU fans? If most of them are saints fans?

The college football product isn’t what it once was. The incessant coverage of recruiting 24/7 and the coaching carousel has become the main staple of huge contracts with lesser loyalty. It’s pretty much an NFL developmental league these days.

Always felt the NFL was corrupt. That it was geared to make the Superstars or big market teams to get to Superbowl.

After last year's NFC Championship and "No Call" , it pretty much solidified it for me.

Now I don't really care as much about the NFL.

Sure I will follow the Saints and watch the Superbowl, but any other games. I simply don't care.

Roger Goodell has made the game so QB and safety minded, it's unwatchable sometimes.

College has intense rivalries and every game is important. It seems players play harder too.

Maybe you’re tired of all the antics the players do,instead of just playing football.

Pro sports seems to be played with less passion tbh. There really isn't a bond between the players and teams. Always felt that way about College Baseball vs MLB and it's becoming more and more obvious regarding NCAAF vs NFL.

This is a thread about how the NFL does very little for you as a fan, which I agree with. It has nothing to do with LSU/Saints fans as a whole. Many LSU&Saints fans had a bad Sunday because of the loss to the falcons. It did not affect me at all. In fact, I had a better day / weekend because of it. Let me explain:

Even though I grew up in New Orleans, I always cared about LSU 1000x more. And a thing that has always drove me nuts are New Orleans/Louisiana folks who forgo LSU to go to Alabama. So, for me (as I stated), who hates Louisiana-born Alabama fans, LSU winning while the saints lost to the falcons (and thus giving Louisian-born Alabama fans no happiness) was the best weekend ever for an LSU fan.

Pro sports suck. NFL is catching up with the NBA. It just isn’t that exciting anymore. I couldn’t care less about the super bowl either. I recorded every LSU game of the season and UCF from last year. I’d rather rewatch those games than any NFL or NBA game.

thats like a handful of people, there really aren’t as many native Louisianians who are bama fans. Most saints fans are also LSU fans
