Man I’m going miss me some college football. No doubt I’m going to be pulling for Tyrann in the Super Bowl but I just don’t give a shite about the NFL. I’m even losing my passion for the Saints. Someone please help me figure out why I’m suddenly feeling this way.

Because LSU just had the greatest season ever and the Saints suck started a shotgun. The Super Bowl could be fun though. Chiefs and what will likely be the 49ers who are currently dominating the Packers.

Been a Saints fan my whole life, but this year reinforced that I personally care so much more about the school I graduated from.

Kind of like how after we beat Bama and the Saints inexplicably lost to the falcons, I just didn't even care

Same, watched 3 quarters of the first game and the first quarter of 49ers Packers. Not that long ago these games would have been my main priority to watch. I used to call it the best Sunday of the year.
Now, meh. Just doesn't do it for me either. I'll watch the Superbowl but only because of the honey badger

Honestly, I was feeling the same for college football until this season.

It's amazing what a winning team can do for the fan's psyche.

I'm meh on the Saints at this point, but if they ever make another Super Bowl run, I'll be right back in it like I was when I was a kid.

As you grow up, you realize it's just a game and it's not that big of a deal when they lose, but it's still fun when they win.

If you watch enough NFL football you’ll start to question whether or not some of it’s fixed. I never feel that way about college games.

I feel the same way. Makes it hard to watch.

You must not have watched the blown call on the Patrick Peterson interception in 2009.

I’ve actually lost interest in both NFL and College football as I’ve gotten older. I have grown to appreciate MLB, College baseball and golf nowadays more than ever before.

I cared.. I was ecstatic that any native Louisianan who was an Alabama fan and a saints fan had 0 sports happiness that week. 2 big Ls from your rivals. Best Sunday ever for a LSU fan if you ask me haha

there’s no emotion or pageantry in pro sports. The only connection is that the team is based in the city, which has very little meaning to most fans. And the pro players are from all over the country, and most are only on the roster for a few years before they leave, so there’s no real connection.

It’s not at all like a university which many of us attended, or at least have some real connection to. And college players are mostly from the state, where there’s a real connection.

Far, far more emotional connection to college teams.

I lost interest in the NFL years ago.

I may pay more attention because of Burrow.
