you always have that one a-hole behind you that ask you to sit down cuz he can't see. if the entire stadium is standing up at that time and stand your arse up and stop whining. this rules is dumb. what's next? we can't get too loud during big plays cuz it will damage someone elses hearing or we can't do the geaux tigerschear anymore cuz half the stadium says "kick their arse" instead of "LSU" at the end of the cheer.

Privilege to go, but you are demanding rights about people standing around you? Man, those hot attics have gotten to you haven't they?

It's like this 4th and 1 ,yes I stand like everyone else.A big play, yes support the team. But unless you're in the student section.Don't be a moron and stand the whole game. Some ppl bring kids or elderly that can't stand all game long.Just have fan courtesy.

Dear Joe Alleva,

All Real Tiger Fans

So just because you want to be a smartass and stand up just to spite someone makes you a "real" tiger fan and those that choose to sit/stand when appropriate are not? You're a complete idiot and dumbass for posting that crap. I would really like to see you pull that crap in front of me. I can promise you after a while you would find yourself face first about 10 rows down!! (I'm a very bad dude, just look at my avatar ) I stand, cheer, yell, and whatever else just like everyone should in Tiger Stadium, but I will not disrespect someone else just because I'm angry about a rule. These complaints about invading peoples freedom to do what they want to do, like smoking in restaurants, bars, etc.,.........what about people that want the freedom to take in clean air? If you want to contaminate your lungs, then by all means please feel free to do so in the designated smoking areas.
It is your right to stand/sit just like it is your right to smoke/not smoke, however it is also my right to stand/sit and breathe clean air. These arguments about taking away freedom of choice is a two way friggin' street.......ESPECIALLY smoking in public establishments!! Show some class and be respectful is all they are asking!!

(and no, I am not a friggin' liberal democrat!!)

Fixed it for you.

We all know common courtesy is not part of the immature college geek mentality--tell us somthing we don't know.

No,no,no, it has been determined if you sit on your hands the whole game instead of standing it is easier on your arse than those hard bleacher seats. Tigers win anyway!

I went to the USC game last week and actually got to stand during the plays - IT WAS GREAT - maybe it was just where I sat, but during the plays, the crowd stood up, got into the game, instead of just sitting there quietly watching - I wish more people would do this at LSU. People still sat in between plays and at other times during the game, it wasn't 4 hours of standing up - I wish people at Tiger Stadium would realize you can stand for parts of the game.

I am waiting for the No Cheering, Yelling or Clapping Rule. The Athletic Department has been receiving complaints from the old men that all the noise in Tiger Stadium drowns out Jom Hawthorne on their headphones. This is unacceptable.

Common courtesy dictates that fans should not block the view of other fans who are seated during game action.

Common decency dictates that lazy fans who prefer to sit should not infringe on other fans' enjoyment or their energetic support of their team.

The loud, cheering fans are what makes TS the #1 most feared venue in college athletics. Not the old fogey or giant fatass that won't stand. And the fatass is oozing over my arm rest anyhow and I'm not squeezing in there.

This is kind of like the smoking in restaurants - I don't like that personal freedoms are being trampled on.

Don't go there Neck. You don't have the personal freedom or "right" to pollute the air with lung cancer causing poisonous cigarette smoke. Wanna kill yourself with cigarettes, do it in the privacy of your own home, not in a public place...........

They should pull out the seats and force everyone to stand. Over 60? Screw you. Handicapped? frick off.

If you're not under 30 and in good health, you have no business in Tiger Stadium.

So what if your parents put up for season tickets so that you could grow up as a Tiger fan. Who cares if they put you through college.

They need to stay at home and shut the frick up.

If you're not in your twenties and drunk off your arse then stay out of Death Valley.
