I think LSU has gotten much better game after game and would just blow those teams out .....we are greatly improved.

Delpit was hurt that game and shouldn't have been playing against OM. Go back and watch the runs that Plumlee took to the house, they were all pretty much just Grant missing the tackle or being slow to fill because that ankle. He couldn't cut with Plumlee and it showed, and the media keeps acting like that dude was bulling over people all game, but if we play them again, it would be similar to the OU game... where a 1400 yard rusher didn't even break 50 yards rushing for the game.

Good. Hopefully our defense continues to use it as motivation

I agree. The defense was fixed after the Ole Piss game, but then it was like "It was just Arkansas. It was just aTm. But Georgia doesn't have an offense"

If you consider 14 of the (sooners) 28 points as garbage points, LSU's defense limited a good quarterback to only two touchdowns.

They mentioned when UNC was one play away from beating Clempson right?

With the addition of Maurice Hampton (coming back from a hand injury), Grant Delpit getting well and K'Lavon Chaisson and Tyler Shelvin peaking at the right time this defense is MUCH improved from the beginning of the season.

I can name more. Patrick Queen and JaCoby Stevens have been playing in beast mode too.

And with the emergence of the other freshman we are seeing improved play from Kary Vincent.

And I can't forget about Kristian Fulton. Dude is solid as a rock.

Erbody is just making erbody better.

For the 10,00th time...

LSU had 500 yards on Auburn at the end of the 3rd quarter. It was an absolute fluke that LSU only scored 23 in that game.

Y'all have been hearing them say negative stuff about the d and bringing up that game?

Everything I'm hearing is that it was a fluke because it was after bama. Then, even the guys who were the most negative started saying that we turned it around after we got dropped to number 2.

I don't see all this stuff people keep bringing up that's negative. I mean our team has been talked about so positive that it's almost too much.

The Ole Miss game was a blowout early. Defense had some injuries and sore players after the Alabama game. Also a letdown after a big game and a huge lead.

The field was in horrible condition during the Auburn game. A lot of slipping and sliding. Receivers had trouble making their cuts, and Joe completely slipped during that 4th down quarterback sneak.

Let the media talk. I couldn't care less. What I care about is in the final three games of the season, Clemson's defense on average allowed 359 yards of total offense. While LSU's defense, on the other hand, allowed on average only 259 yards of total offense.

Meanwhile, LSU's final three games of the season were against better teams than Clemson's final three games of the season.

Let them. That's their job. To hype the game as competitive.

Truth is, on a normal field, we beat AU by at least 3TDs even the day we played them.

As for Ole Miss. Our defense was beat the frick up. Delpit was a complete shell of himself.

If our defense hadn't shown improvement after getting healthy, they'd have a point. As it stands, it's just silliness.

We won both games. Come to think if it, we beat 6 top 10 teams along the way.

Media has a bigger problem. This offense went into hyperdrive after the Bama game. OU got nuked like nothing I've ever seen before. Clemson had to rely on OSU to shoot itself in the arse.

If the media wants to look at a game, check out UNC vs CU where Mack Brown's team called an awful play for winning 2pt conversion.
Maybe also check out that common opponent, TAM.
CU wins at home 24-10
LSU wins at home 50-7
Enough said.

If they want to point to games, that's stupid. You point to trends. And LSU has been trending into the stratosphere since the emotional let down after the bama victory.
