Ran into them after the Syracuse game tonight and man do they love LSU. I’m a McMahon critic (also a Wadeophile), but had some great conversations with them and now I want to see what he does with that class coming in next year.
I see this same type of post after every damn loss. Makes me think someone in the McMahon family has a bunch of alters on this board.

Long live Will Wade.
The 1st thing the anouncers said tonite was that WW was the cause of all of the defections and the roster CMM was left with.
all i could do was

What is the average number of players replaced by P5 schools the last 2 years? I would bet it’s close to 7 a year.
McMahon had to replace 9 in year one and 7 in year 2. That puts him the same position as Arkansas and Mizzou. They seem to be doing okay.
This is McMahon’s team, he has no one to blame but himself at this point.
Wade turned over McNeese’s roster in a matter of months and filled a team that will compete at the top of the Southland and has a great chance to make the tournament.

Let me guess, my dear friend Coach McMahon, who I met in Syracuse tonight, needs 15 recruiting classes to right the ship and get us to the NIT right?

NIT?!!!
We’d just be happy with ONE road win at this point (he’s currently 0-10 in true road games)

I’m sure he’s a great guy but so far he’s a lousy coach who clearly cannot assess talent or cannot persuade talent to come here. Either way men’s basketball is dead

He’s one of maybe 5 rant insiders and you’re making a mockery of his input.
Maybe you’d enjoy 45 threads from 50 angry teens and Jim bob cooters that don’t even fiscally support the school

The whole point of that post is that your perspective changes a bit when you actually meet the family member or actual person you talk shite about online. Can only help but laugh during this basketball season.
And yes the McMahon family is all CLASS.

We all want McMahon to succeed in all seriousness. I was a little hopeful early on tonight that he could get a signature win. Then the second half started, and of course things turned ugly quickly. I hope I’m wrong about McM and that next year he wins 30 games.

Yep trust me I believe you have to be a Will Wade gangster type to succeed in college basketball and thought he would’ve been our Calipari bringing in top 5 classes annually. It’s such a dirty business.
I don’t think McMahon is going to work out ultimately but I hope I’m wrong and am rooting for him and willing to give him next season with that class coming in.

This is the key being a good nice rule follower doesn’t work in the seedy world of college basketball. You have to be a greasy individual to make it work or be willing to deal with greasy individuals. Poor Matt is too stiff and nice.

You created a thread that I think will be referenced for a long long time. Obviously we all agree that's he's a great man but that thread has great callback potential
