LSU should have told Nike to get bent and start thinking proactively. LSU and Nike are missing away potential sales by not doing a Mardi Gras baseball and basketball uniform.

Phil Knight is funding Oregon's NIL, not Nike. Phil Knight left Nike (retired) in 2016. It's all his personal money going to their NIL, not anything coming from Nike directly

I don't understand Louisiana's infatuation with this dumb holiday. It didn't even start here

LSU is paid by Nike to wear Nike. I don't see what the problem is.

Can’t stand Nike. When they came out with blood shoes, that was it for me.

Why can’t Nike design a Mardi Gras uniform?

If you want to wear uniforms from a different maker, work it into your contract before time.

Nike shoes, no problem.

But Nike has ruined more teams' uniforms than the law should allow.
Look at what they did to Major League Baseball last year. The road pants and jerseys didn't even match. They've had to walk back their new "revolutionary fabric" because players complained.

Their gold/yellow jersey for us this past football season was plain awful.

I don't blame Marucci for thinking they could do better then Nike. A sixth grader with crayons could have.

Holiday jerseys are nothing new. A lot of MLB teams incorporate green into their uniforms on St. Patrick's Day. Mardi Gras is a special time in Louisiana.

Alas, LSU has an apparel contract with Nike. I get that. But LSU's advice to Nike should be simple: Be better.

if Nike and LSU thought there was enough money to be made to justify doing this, they would.

They're not my favorite but I like the thought. Marucci should sell these though. I'd buy one for S&Gs

I'd wear it to Games during Mardi Gras and to Parades.
Sunday I wore LSU Socks and Polo but a Mardi Gras Hat to New Orleans b/c it was game day.

LSU should have just said it was in honor of trannies being brave enough to groom, I mean, read to children at the local library (also known as Hank Day).

Why can't they get Nike to make these alternate jerseys?
