The LSU hostility for Sankey > Saban when he left

Saban is at least qualified and competent. You can hate him, but you have to respect him. Sankey on the other hand, just another Yankee that thinks he is superior to use poor folks down here.

There was no terrific hostility toward Saban because he wanted the NFL. That's a natural progression. The hostility came when he went to Alabama.

Well duh. That’s a baseline.

There wasn’t much hard feeling at all when Saban left, sad as we were to see him go.


A better comparison is feelings when he announced his return to Alabama when LSU fans were going to watch LSU thrash Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl

if the federal govt can put some parameters in place it's time to get a commissioner in place for both football and basketball to put the conferences back in their place

all it is now is one big fight of SEC vs Big Ten and it's not working for the betterment of collegiate athletics that generates the most money
