It could be raining.

I wouldn't say it's going to be BAD for sure.. but more than likely at 4p it'll be 91 and 89% HuM.

Both sides will show effects

Well, sort of.

First, LSU will be hot and tired by the end of the game, but we practice in this weather every day and are therefore more conditioned for the sub-tropical environment.

Secondly, the visitor's side of the field will be in the sun then entire game. By game time (approximately 4pm) the LSU side of the field will be in the shade thanks to the west-side upper deck.

I have sat on both sides of the stadium for day games and believe me, it makes a difference.

for reference, it's 87 and 39% in Ann Arbor.

I define that as WINTER.

LSU running = One dimensional, low scoring game
ASU running and throwing = balanced offense and opportunity to score, sometimes quickly.
Opportunity to score = Good chance to win.

I highly doubt that Ann Arbor, Michigan will be anything like the conditions that they will experience in late August at 4:00 in the afternoon.

I mean...
they're from NC. They had one game in Ann Arbor, I really doubt they've grown accustomed to the heat levels in Michigan.

You can't be this stupid. You don't stand in the middle of the field most of the game. There is probably a 15 degree difference between the visitors sideline and the LSU sideline WHERE THE PLAYERS WILL SPEND THE MAJORITY OF THEIR TIME TRYING TO COOL OFF. If it's blistering hot on the field and you go to the sideline to cool off...and you can't, that's a problem.

The weather is not even close to Appy State biggest problem in this game, but trust me, it's a problem.

You realize we averaged 38.7 pts a game last year with a very average "throwing" QB don't you? I really hope the Moutaineers believe their offense is as balanced as you do.

LSU running = no ASU offense
Few opportunities to score = slim chance to win

Yea, you know what else is going to be working against them?

The fact that they're a freaking Div 1-AA team, with only 65 scholarships and 95% of their team was not even recruited by a Div 1-A school. I mean, that tends to make a difference, unless you're Michigan of course.

Well in that case, i'm not going to the game...

(there's a reason you're in 1AA and we're not. You're in the same league as Nicholls State...

On that same note, since it is a home game I'd assume we're going to choose to play in our white jerseys (even though it is out of conference).

So what are App State's options for road unis? Black helmet, black jersey, black pants? That won't suck one bit, will it?

Who are the Knights in discussion here?

I'm sure the heat and humidity will effect both teams, hopefully LSU is more used to it, but look how they collapsed in 2005 against Tennessee. And yes, I know there were mitigating circumstances acting there as well. But there were a lot of LSU players cramping up in that game and it was at night.

Wow, I never thought someone could ever be that crazy. LSU will throw the ball against Appy and throw it well.
