I couldn't get to a computer since the game Sat. Couldn't see or hear the game but I certainly heard about the final score. Hopefully our guys learned something from the trip. Out of curiosity, did anyone jump on the eye? Didn't think Coach Moore would allow that but you can't tell what individual players might do. Also, I wanted to compliment you on your board here, it's been a lot of fun and I've enjoyed your posts even when App was on the receiving end. Anyways, I'll lurk a little and hopefully get some good stuff to use on James Madison University fans. Good luck!

BNG;
I saw this when you posted on rivals. I think it is a good assesment of our weaknesses and strengths. As you mentioned, we lost a lot all at once and I believe the remaining guys will step-up and I'm anxious to see how they do.

Good work!
And we've won 3 NCs in a row and are still ranked #1 this season.
Tell your daughter to remind them not to fumble game.... I mean ball, on our ten yard line with 6 seconds left.

This video was not an official video released by ASU..This was a school project, not a video made by the university...Not that it matters but it is old seeing this pop up over and over..find something original

Unfortunately, it was posted on the official ASU site until 2-3 days after the Michigan game. It made it's way onto the 'net and it's toothpaste out of the tube at this point. ASU must have taken it down when they realized the traffic to the site generated by the UM game and didn't want to scare away prospective students.

If it was a student project, I hope they failed the class.

I know that is why I went to App..it was between UNC and App, and right as I was about to sign the applications i heard some snazzy tune...

For me it was between LSU and ASU but when I saw all the life opportunities presented on that video I had to go ASU. Next thing I know it's 18F at 7:30AM and I'm walking across campus in a foot of snow. I thought it was supposed to be "Hot" up there.

Disclaimer: Whoever allowed that video to be produced, let alone posted on the web, should be immediately banned from the mountain.
Thanks for posting, I had not seen that before.
Please post pictures/link/video if REKDIVER does this. :lol:
I'm curious if there is a drink of choice on game day for the LSU fans. Something everyone drinks?

App. State has to give us permission to wear white and I doubt they do that, considering they would have to wear black.

I read on a APP board a couple of days ago that we are wearing black. No official word, but at a Football 101 clinic someone attended they were told Black.
LSU running = One dimensional, low scoring game
ASU running and throwing = balanced offense and opportunity to score, sometimes quickly.
Opportunity to score = Good chance to win.
I was just trying help out JO3916 with his endeavors. Been to Mardi Gras a few times and I was always amazed what drunk women would do for some plastic and string. Unfortunately I won't be at the game but I'll wear my gear with pride come gameday regardless of score.
LSU fans, do beads only work during Mardi Gras or will they work the rest of the year too?

We would love to kick vandy out and bring you guys in

Yeah, I have to agree "Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Applachian State...." has a certain ring to it. :lol:
Whoaaa there Appfan;

You have to keep the hotels and restaraunts full year round so they don't go broke. Can't do that with a few home games a year and leafers. Also, you need staff year round, can't keep things going with student hires.

321 and 421 expansions are good but it is more than a local issue, roads and transportation (airports for instance) are a regional issue and the area around Boone and Blowing Rock does not have the regional infrastructure. Think parking here too at the local level.

The atheletic facilities still need major upgrades. If we're going to I-A we need more than a 22,000-24,000 seat stadium. You're going to have large I-A school alumni traveling with the team. Our school travels well at I-AA but nothing like I-A. LSU fans please help me here.

Alumni support. You can't make the jump without alumni support and that means $$. Conference shares will ebb and flow but you still have to be able to pay the bills year in and year out. Can't live on credit or projected future earnings.

I know everyone there is excited about our recent success but success comes and goes. Don't think Nike would have us in any of their commercials if we hadn't beat UM. Guess what happens when we stumble (and we will at some point) or when everyone forgets the UM game (which will be the first snap this year). Chancellor Peacock and the Board know all this and won't rush into anything.

I admire your spunk kid. Thanks for the laughter therapy... I needed that!

Yes, that was a joke
I agree with you for now. Coach Moore has done a lot with the team and they have performed beyond our wildest expectations the last few years. If we made the jump now we'd just get lost in the crowd. Not sure there is an upside for us at this point even though many of our fans get excited about the prospect of being I-A.
You're right, and ECU might also pitch a fit if it came down to the ACC expanding teams in the state.

Unfortunately I don't think the University is going to be big enough (read $$) to get into the ACC any time soon. I prefer the ACC just because of playing so many games in-state.
