You can bet, that if Bama wins a close game, and every other team shits the bed we won't get that second chance....

Dude, frick that. That's why we're fans...to experience that HUGE game hype, to have the nation focused on our team for as long as possible, to listen to ever one have to talk about us. Would you rather them hyping up someone else's game?

Fan is short for fanatic. Keep that in mind. I say you can't be a true fan if you don't go to the games.

88-0 LSU .

When Bama beats a preseason Top 10 team in Michigan (by a large margin mind you) the voters will move them up to 1. When they beat Arky. It'll solidify a Top 2 spot on Nov 3rd as long as they stay unbeaten. LSU may have an opportunity to jump Bama against some ranked teams before then, but I'm not sure who they play before Bama that'll be ranked when LSU plays them.

I am thinking it is likely Bama will slip up before 11/3. That would be unfortunate, but that is what I think. It will take a tad of the significance off the game, but it will still be on national tv on Sat night in Tiger Stadium, with some hungry Tigers ready to take it out on the Tide, so it will still be a great atmosphere.

I don't see anyone on our schedule not named LSU that can go two to two with our O-Line, and no matter how good Knile Davis and Tyler Wilson are, Davis didn't do all that well against Bama a in 2010 and while Wilson is a great QB, Bama is in his head. I admire all of the shots he took in T-Town, but he's going to be thinking about those everytime he drops back, and if he holds on to the ball long enough Hubbard/Dickson/Williams are gonna have career days.

I expect the Bama-Ark game to play out a lot more like it did in 2010 than it did in 2011, and the current point spread of Bama -3.5 suggests that will be the case (Bama won by 4 in 2010).

Tyler Wilson shouldn't be on his back as much with a better running game, better o-line, and with a year of starting experience under his belt (his game @ Bama last year was his first SEC start).

He didn't find his stride until about halfway through the 2010 season. He only got 6 carries in the Bama game, but did average 7 YPC in that game.

I don't either. The only possibility I see is a DB unit that hasn't jelled missing assignments against 2 QB's have Heisman like days (Wilson/Franklin) and Bama simply getting outscored. We'll see though...a long way off.

That's the way the TV tools will hype it, too.

The fact that the result of last year's game had absolutely no bearing on the post season means that any hype for this year's game means absolutely nothing.

LSU wins=oops, did not count.
Bama wins=ho hum. Bring on USCw

This times infinity.

The "hype" this year will be the media doing all they can to get a USC vs Bama type BCSNCG. If Bama and USC lose one of their "big games", it will literally mean nothing. All it does is make their road to Miami easier. Leave stupid things like winning the conference title to the "other teams".

I'm glad to see at least one or two of you live in reality.

Honestly I can't fathom it being more intense than last year. But who knows, for us there's a good chance it will be since we'll be chomping at the bit to get them into our slaughterhouse for a saturday night in the valley. I plan on being trashed, but capable of decent memory.
