I stopped listening a while back. I may watch one of his clipped videos here and there to kill time... but a full podcast episode? No way possible
Its ok to be wrong. Its no way to predict everything right.... but he's gotten to the point where he throws shite at the wall and hope it sticks. Bills have to get paid, so I get it.
Im not even the type guy that gets pissed at every negative take someone has about LSU and run here to make a thread about it.
Not many of these talking-head guys have consistent and reasonable takes on games/teams.

What’s the deal with him always asking questions to his producer “Jesse” and then almost never getting an answer. I watched one show this year and he’s still doing that. I get it though, everybody has their thing. He seems to have a lot of these constant things.
Even though I don’t care for Pate like I once did I’m not gonna bash those that do. He did what was best for him to build a strong college football brand.

I didn’t say he was perfect. He passes the 80/20 rule IMO. You don’t have to like him. I do.

People like comparing Teams to 2019 LSU. It's like people saying "Who is this generations Michael Jordan? " Or Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Everyone wants the story so they try to manufacture it. Pate was just anticipating that aspect of Media/Social Media. He didn't say it as if he thought it was correct. His next sentence was about how UF is flawed and how Sumrall deals with the expectations if they keep destroying people even though he knows they are flawed.

OK, but he really is a Bama fan. He's done a decent job hiding but his past reveals the truth.

Completely agree
Has he been right? Yep. Has he been wrong? Absolutely
I think what I like about pate is that even though I don’t agree with all of his takes or his points, I arrive at my conclusions the same type of way that he does.. it’s hard to put into words really but I find that we both think alike and that brings me to watch/listen to his show
People here will hear one thing that he says that they don’t like or see one clip of him or just listen to the rest of the clapping seals who say they don’t like him…
but I think he’s always been more than fair to everyone, and I enjoy listening to him

That’s cool if he’s a bama fan. I don’t think that is cooked into his opinions about LSU. He generally gives us a lot of love.
