I don't think you'll find a sports radio slash talk show figure that people actually like. There's some that are ok to listen to but seem to be annoying at times. I just don't listen to the ones that hurt my ears.

Team A is really good and team B is bad. But team B just has that it factor and they have magic in their stadium. The model likes team A and I have them to win big.
But if team B wins don't say I didn't tell you so.

Just bad takes nowadays, I would tune in years ago as he was a fresh new voice, now it just seems like he dug his grave with the "nu uh, never said that" kinda shite, that'll make people lose respect if you can't take it on the chin with bad or incorrect takes/assessments.

To be fair, he owns up every chance he gets to having DJ Lagway as his pre-seaon #1 SEC QB last year.

He has some obvious biases and plays politics with coaches and staffs in order to have access. Also knows how to play off fanbases to increase viewership and subscribers.
I still like to listen during the season to keep up with what’s going on elsewhere because I miss a lot on weekends with home games. But I don’t really take his takes all that seriously, it’s just entertainment.
With that said, I did get pretty annoyed with him about the 5 for 5 thing, he was clearly just riding popular opinion and making the lazy takes on that. Andy Staples was way better on that. But at that point I was mad at the world

I found his content in the last year. Occasionally listen to his take about a big upcoming game or reacting to a big game.
He uses a lot of colloquialisms and inside jokes that I don’t feel add to his message. He also just talks a lot without really saying anything. I usually get bored and don’t finish the segment. I’m surprised that he’s built such a huge following, but props to him.

He lost me quite a few years back when he admitted he had Alabama bias and often just repeated the same pep talk to most fan bases when things went bad.
I don’t watch him live anymore, but I will check out a few vids every now and then. I’ve watched only one of his shows this season.

This is how people become big. They tell you everything you want to hear. You click, you follow, you subscribe, and the more they grow the closer they become a true media personality. Now they have a huge following so it doesn’t matter what they say. Rage baiting for your engagement. It pays their bills, not your feelings, not if they’re right or wrong, it’s by clicks and engagement. They don’t care how you feel, they know they’re wrong, but it’s a business to them. It’s all a game.
I only follow LSU media heads. I really don’t care to play that game or contribute.
