the hunt palmer show=A waste of Time!

This guy loves to hear himself talk. He has the weirdest takes. Brings Nothing to the table , Doesn’t care if LSU wins the bowl game. Just wanna watch the young guys. Wouldn’t be surprised if in a year or so this dude is one of those people that says we don’t need to keep scoring anymore long as the kids play. Wants four outs in baseball because three is unfair. Doesn’t thing we need bowl games because it’s an inconvenience for the players.
He was talking a few weeks ago about how much we don’t need the bowl games and how it’s a big waste of time… Then the next thing out of his mouth he wanted to sell advertisement for his pregame show for the bowl game ?? how dumb how dumb!!
This dude is the worst talkshow guy in Baton Rouge today. Why is he on the air? I no longer listen it’s unbearable.

He is right about the bowl games. They are not meaningful anymore and that includes the NY6 bowls. The only things that mean anything are conference championship games and the soon-to-be 11 playoff games.

Jeremy Hill needs to come back
I do think bowl games are on their last legs especially with expanded playoffs coming
Why not have a spring game against another opponent in a bowl type setting, I bet ESPN would televise those games

I listen to as much of his baseball content as I can. Him and Hanny are the only BR guys that are actually good at talking baseball.
I just think the OPs take is extremely stupid for thinking a guy that hosts a solo show talks too much. If he were a co-host and never let anyone else get a word in, I could see that.

I'd argue Hunt is the best local host we have.
The fact that you can't differentiate this
If LSU isn't in an NY6 or playoff game, I would love for the bowl game to be treated as your first Spring Game. Evaluate what you have and what you need. It's much more productive than beating Purdue by 60 points.
Of course I'd love to win, but Jayden Daniels (who I would love to see play and dominate) playing 4 quarters of this game does objectively nothing for LSU, the program, or the development of next year's team.

He isn’t wrong about bowl games, they are becoming a waste of time. Outside of the NY6 and CFP, they just don’t really matter anymore. Last year against Purdue was a perfect example. Their coach and most of their best players weren’t there.

The biggest advantage of the bowl game is 15 extra practices. And to your point, I think the NCAA is leaning toward the spring game treatment by not making bowl games count toward the 4 game redshirt rule.
