The girls ran out of steam in the third quarter

Without any bench play, our girls can't sustain a full 100% effort the entire game. Especially if the opposite team turns on their jets like Georgia did yesterday. Hopefully somebody steps up come tournament time!!!

They didn’t run out of steam, they started playing selfishly and gave less effort on defense while not moving the ball on offense. In other words, they took their foot off the gas.

Right? It was so awful to have to forfeit and not even get to play the fourth quarter. Unacceptable.

I didn't watch the second half, but from looking at the stats it appears Kim played every player on the roster.
You think maybe that is the reason we didn't double the Ga score.
Kim showed compassion as well as getting the young players some experience.

No, we still had 3 to 4 starters on the floor when UGA went on a 16-0 run in the 3Q and the very beginning of the 4Q.

good thing is they will get almost a week off between last game sunday until sec tourney game on fri

I think it was more of temporarily losing focus as opposed to losing steam. They've already proven they can last 4 qtrs. Its really difficult to maintain focus when you're up by a very large margin. That said, they were able to re-focus and close the game out in a big way.

They didn’t, mulkey even addressed it in the post game presser. They got the 30 point lead and basically got lazy. Everyone just jacked up a shot like 5-6 possessions in a row without making a pass and didn’t play any defense the last 5 minutes of the quarter

I love Kim as a coach but failing to get bench players more PT min in a 26 pt win will come back to bite us in the arse. All 5 starters played >32 min. That is not going to help recruiting either.
