Yeah but with those dark clouds and looming sanctions we arent getting

an exciting young coach like Todd Golden

either. Will probabaly have to be one of the aforementioned old timer/placeholders collecting a retirement check for a few years.

shite.. if all else fails...

I’d rather this than names I’ve heard. Plus, we need a young guy who’s hungry to build and prove verses a guy who says look what I’ve done 10 years ago.

There is no such thing as NCAA violations any more, NIL took care of that . Now the rest can play like the blue bloods were allowed to do.

frick this hypocrisy and wokeism virtuesignaling that has permeated college athletics.

Chk the WOKE box will definitely be checked here. The new WOKE hire will not care about sanctions and get the benefit of the doubt in wins and losses from the Pres & AD

He seems to be pretty high on the list.

I guess if you predict this every time it might happen eventually.

He's referring to the pitching staff, which will be this team's downfall in SEC play.

I would greatly approve the hire of Golden. I just don't know if any decent HC is going to want to coach through at least 2 years of postseason ban.

He means a black coach. Fourth time's the charm.

If Woodward hired Golden I'd be pumped.

Please do it Woodward. I think 2-2.5 million a year would get him to LSU pretty easily.

He makes $1.4 million at San Fran. I say offer him a 6-year contract at $2.5 million per. That is enough time and security to rebuild our program during the years of postseason ban.

There’s no such thing as “massive sanctions” anymore. Louisville got a slap on the wrist, so did Auburn and Syracuse. Memphis didn’t even get punished neither did Bama outside of paying a fine and firing coaches.
I expect we're going to be made an example of, not only due to Wade's violations but because we then kept him several more years after the first hint of trouble.

You list some schools: Louisville, Auburn, Syracuse, Memphis, Bama.

Louisville and Syracuse are basketball brand names. Memphis is closer to that than we are. Bama has ungodly influence due to Saban and the football factory. Only Auburn is similar to us, and they didn't go apeshit with the head coach.

You couple this with the football issues, and things could get very ugly around here.

Brian Kelly, Kim Mulkey and Jay Johnson all fit what criterion that Golden does not?
