I remember when LSU was playing Kentucky in '86 (I think) in a Regional final to get to the Final 4. LSU was an 11th seed, Kentucky was a 1. NO CHANCE IN HELL the Tigers stood a chance in that game.

Pigs can fly man. Trust me.

you should run to a doctor! We would be double digit underdogs at home, much less at their place

Yikes.

High expectations up in this fan base.

Although if Florida is going to lose, hopefully it is to a team I don't hate like LSU. Much rather lose to LSU than Kentucky.

Thanks for the lesson. But obviously you knew what I meant. Spell check didn't fix it so I just left it alone, I guess because the way I spelled must have been correct but with a different meaning.

FWIW, I think the Gators have a legit shot to take it all this year. I take the Gators over Syracuse, Duke, Wichita State, etc.

I was hoping since FLA clinched, they would play with a little less intensity this Sat but when I heard about the net cutting and the chance to go 16-0 in conference at home, my enthusiasm for an upset diminished. Well, you got to play the game so WTF.

Florida has the best coach in the SEC and there is nobody who is even a close second. They've also got a talented and very experienced core group of players. It's no accident that they are league champs and #1 in the country.

HOWEVER, LSU has got some pretty good players on this team. The problem is far, FAR, too many times those individual peices have not played well together. UK might have the most talented frontcourt in the SEC, yest we've seen LSU really control that battle in 2 games. That just goes to show you that when LSU's frontcourt is playing with passion they can match anyone in the SEC.

I think the atmosphere is going to give life to LSU. The key to the game for me is that LSU MUST expend energy on defense. The sole reason they lost the UK game is that they just flat out refused to make UK beat them by shooting jumpshots. They let UK get to the lane all day long. UF has one great shooter in Frazier. They cannot let him get open often. Otherwise, force UF to beat you from the outside. If they make jumpers, so be it. Also, if UF wants to pressure the ball, then LSU should make them pay. I don't care how good UF's team defense is, they don't have a guy who can keep up with Hickey full court. Also, Martin and Mickey, if nothing else, can get down the court on the break.

All your points are valid.

I'd like to see one of our guards on Wilbiken all night, shutting him down would be key - he's their engine. We could have one of our tall guards, then a short one, etc. just rotate them to give a different look and so they don't get tired. I want to see them pesky, Gary Peyton "The Glove" style

Do you see us running man-man, FC press or zone?

I can't be the only one that thinks we beat Florida. I've watched every LSU road game this year and I still feel confident. Do we have a chance or do I need to take a trip to the doctor.

For me it's too big a risk to get my hopes up again for this team as inconsistent and uneven as they've been this year.

But....just hypothetically, one of our biggest issues this year has been lack of intentsity, focus and energy, It's not our only issue but it's a big one.

I don't see that being the problem tomorrow. That and the fact that Florida hasn't been blowing alot of team out could mean we make a game of it,

But they finish games...we for the most part don't.

Gators 70-63.

Take the glasses off. Guard play kills LSU. Uf has top guards. If LSU stays within 15 it's a win.
