According to Forbes, LSU is the fifth most valuable athletic program in the country, and this "premium" area is just more chain link fencing with mesh banners on it?
I LOVE the old sections of T.S., it's where the ghosts and mystique come from, along with the fans and their bourbon. But damn, that's under a newly built section.

Prediction:
The two "free" beers you get with the $20 entry fee will be small plastic cups of draft beer like you get at the TAF party in the PMAC. Most people will think they will be getting 2 12oz bottles of Bud Light, only to be pissed that it isn't.
Obviously the Chute is really just a cordoned off area of under the south endzone stands. But good on LSU for at least making profitable use of that space.

That's actually not a bad price for a craft beer inside a stadium. The problems are that you're paying $10 a pop for your first two and as you mentioned, you can't leave with it.
My question is, if you pay your $20 and get in and drink your two beers then head back to your seat. Do they give you a bracelet or something that you can get back in and buy more beer without having to pay the cover again?

That area is going to smell like complete arse, especially the first couple months of the season. Sweat, vomit, spilled beer all in a contained hot area with little ventilation...
