say what? This roster is full of 4 and 5 stars.

Realize that Murray, Fudge, and Reid are freshman and are obviously very raw. Justice Williams should be a high school senior right now. Of all these players, Murray is the only guy SEC ready.

Eason was a four star but he averaged 7 points at Cincy last year. He has struggled against real competition bc his game is limited to going right, dribbling too much.

Days was a 4 star and his development has been disappointing.

So I’m not so sure this qualifies as full of 4 and 5 stars. And when you look at the context of who these highly recruited guys are…

Sure, fire Wade…who do you think LSU basketball is getting? Look at our program’s history. Wanna reach for a mid major? That’s what you could get.

Of course delusional LSU fan thinks we can get Scott Drew.

Oh he doesn’t get any credit for putting the team in as a 3 seed. Or being an SEC Champion huh?

You guys are imbeciles.

I'll argue he showed his arse on a wire tap and never coached a tournament game. Those are facts. You can blame him for not taking the team to the final four that year.

1 5 star on the roster Eason and pinson are 3 stars. Murray and Gaines are 4 star underclassman. Also look at some of the players who have left the team. Jalen cook 19 ppg, Charles manning 17 ppg, James bishop 17 ppg. Wade has had good recruiting classes, but it’s not like that really even matters 2 years later.

I hate to break this to you but lots of LSU coaches have take teams to regular season titles. Do a little research.

Yes. Before Wade…

Last final 4 - 2006
Last elite 8 - 1987
Last sweet 16 - 2000
Last SEC Champ - 2009

what were the 3 year spans around those years? This program has had zero consistency over last 30 years. We haven’t had a 3 year ncaa tourney appearances in a row in over a decade.

Y’all are delusional.

I think they probably have a better shot at Sparty with Wade at the helm too.

Well... the 2006 team made it to the sweet 16 and elite 8 to get to the final four. I can't believe I'm even having to explain this.

You make 2.5 million a year. Get me to the sweet 16 more times than you don’t. Win me a natty I will pay you 5 million. Don’t make the tourney you’re fired. Probation? Fired.

Are you serious? Do a little research? On what?

Give me a better 3 year run for LSU basketball since the late 1980s. I don’t want one year and then a flameout. Give me your research of the best 3 year run since the late 1980s.

Let me hear your research!

Ok. Wade has won one sec regular season title and 1 NCAA tournament game.

Brady in 2006 won 4 NCAA tournament games and 1 Sec regular season title

Three years ago they did.I'm not ready to fire him but you'd have to be crazy to think there's not something wrong with this team. They've been just pathetic the last three games. That doesn't concern you?

Shrimpy gets credit for standing on the sidelines in 2019 and staying out of the way.

Ensminger, Brady and Burrow. (Ensminger found Brady with the Saints. Bill Busch got Burrow out of Ohio)

Aranda Defense.

Shrimpy just stood around clapping and let everybody do their job. He gets credit for that at least.

In the short term definitely. It sucks watching this team fall apart

In the long term no.

Every coach has this happen.

Every coach

Well, to be fair, the final 16 (super regionals) was not good enough in baseball and even the final 6 ( in 2018) wasn’t good enough in football for all you guys in here. The floor should be the same in basketball. That would mean we are consistently’below the floor’. Doesn’t matter about the last decade. That’s the floor at LSU.

Sure it’s concerning. I think the defense has been figured out - 3 mediocre teams have put 70+ on us. The offense wasn’t great at any point this year except maybe versus Tennessee.

But I also know what LSU basketball has been and what we’ve seen the last 3 years. I know that after the end of Dale, end of Brady, Trent and Johnny I longed for the days where we’d be in the conversation for a tourney bid.

With Wade, that’s the floor expectation. Hope that steak continues this year, but even if it does, I think this team is so flawed on offense that they won’t do much.

But I know the true talent on this team is really, really young. If they return, and with the talent we have next year, they can be a strong team.

Will we ever compete for a natty in basketball? I’ve been following since 1980 and if I’d have to bet, I’d say “no.” But we have to supe up the talent on the roster to compete and Wade has shown he can recruit better than anyone in recent LSU basketball history.

That’s fricking insane.

We’ve won 6 CWS.

We won 3 NCs in football.

We’ve won 0 NCAA Tournaments.

Set the bar at the same place. We’ll be firing coaches forever
