Yea people who support Wade are blind to be in top 4 in SEC the last 3 years and 4 straight ncaas after this program was completely irrelevant for a decade. Who has the best record in the SEC over the last 3 years?

Yes, he deserves criticism for the collapse this year but if you’re honest with yourself, the talent isn’t great on this team. Days is who he is - an inconsistent player who tries very hard. Lot of the high stars are really young and Eason has huge faults. It should still be a tourney team and if he doesn’t make it this year, that’s an atrocious job.

But, look at the talent coming in next year. It has the chance to be one of the more talented LSU teams in recent memory. We have to be realistic about LSU basketball - to be in position with this type of talent is the exception rather than the rule for our program. Yet under Wade we continually are getting some great talent.

We’re all emotional about the collapse but calling for Will’s job at this point is absurd.

so many posters support the individual coach rather than the LSU basketball program. I don’t get it.

We saw the same thing with Miles and Orgeron.

Coaches and players come and go. I support the program.

This is just what a lot of idiots in our fanbase do. They are unreasonable and pretty clueless on most sports. They expect a coach who brings us to the final 4 every year even though no coach will ever do that.

say what? This roster is full of 4 and 5 stars.

Bringing big talent here isn’t Wade’s problem. It’s what he does with them once they’re here.

Not really. But if a coach gets caught by the FBI saying stupid stuff, I at minimum expect him to be competent.

No man, the LSU brand and your savior of an AD should be able to hire a legitimate coach that can recruit kids to a system. We don’t need top 5 classes. How often does Kentucky, Kansas, Duke win national championships now days?

It’s even worse than the “remember the 90s!” crowd defending Miles’ toss dive left, toss dive right teams year after year.

If you say stupid things while on a wire tap, a lot more than what he has done. Here's a fun exercise: list the top 3 sports at LSU and then list the top 3 sports at most other schools.

Most wins in SEC prior 3 years
Double byes in SEC tourney last 3 years
NCAA tourneys the last 3 years
Sweet 16
Round of 32

Give me the last time LSU has had a 3 year stretch in basketball like this?

I know you guys expect a natty or final 4 every year tho.

He never made it to the sweet 16. No one cares about double byes.

There are legitimate criticisms of Wade. But saying he should be on the hot seat right now is ridiculous. Coach Cal went 9–16 last year. Pearl went 13–14.

You're going to argue he doesn't get credit for the 2019 team?
