Sure, it's interesting.
So is moving to the acc, pac 12 etc.
The sec is home and there is a fan base just as bad as Alabamas in Austin.
So why move just to get pissed off again. Then we'd be saying how nice the sec would be for us.
Furthermore. Alabama doesn't control the sec like se of these conspiracy theorists believe.
They are just better than we are at this time. Expect more from Les Miles and we won't have to read silly articles like this every six months or so.
Ps. The big 12 ain't very stable at this time. If the dominoes fall, the big 12 is the first to bite the dust.

Guys, has Jimmy Sexton not taught y'all anything? Of course LSU wouldn't switch conferences...BUT...if it APPEARED that LSU was entertaining the thought, then maybe the SEC would throw LSU a bone or two to keep them happy?

If the bias for Bama and Auburn continues, then Im all for a conference move. The Big 12 isnt a dieing conference, with the surge of TCU, Baylor and WVU addition the conference will be in a much better state once it adds a championship game again.
The same reason that A&M now has an advantage over UT will have the opposite effect for LSU moving to the Big 12.

If playing the Gumps, Hens and Lizards were on a equal basis I'd say yes but we all know its not equal, I would not mind seeing LSU stick it to the SEC and say "see ya suckers".

This is exactly what I was thinking - Crusty. Both LSU and Arky teaming up to put pressure into the politics of the SEC. They can't make us leave but we can sure do a lot of courting with the BigXII to gain some form of leverage.
LSU is an important brand for the SEC - on par with the Fla and Bama brands. Time we used that brand for some ROI.
