LSU didn't want to play Alabama again.
It wasn't fair that they should have had to, and many talking heads and college fans I know said as much repeatedly... Not many people liked the rematch.
I know I know, its all over now.
I just think that's the real underlying issue of such a lopsided game.
Alabama wanted to play LSU badly, and LSU would have much preferred to play Alabama next year in BR.
Alabama didn't recieve any real consequences from losing at home to a division rival that went undefeated.
LSU coaches and players could never admit these feelings in the public eye(as if they had a choice anyways), but if I am an LSU player, why would I want to play Alabama a 2nd time for all the marbles?
LSU played in the SEC championship game (an extra game), While Alabama sat at home fueling their fire.
Alabama won fairly, but the game should have never been played...

Because you have a sense of pride and want to play the best?

They could have at least showed up though

I agree with a lot of that. Doesn't help me with the QB decisions over the last half of the year.

Well going into the game LSU was the best so they couldn't exactly host a spring game for the BCS

To win a national championship? To beat a rival twice and be that much better? So miles could officially own saban? Idk, just a few...

Alabama: 1-1 versus Top 10
OSU: 2-0 v. Top 10
Alabama: 2-1 v. Top 30
OSU: 6-1 v. Top 30
Conference Title:
Alabama: 0
OSU: 1

Because we already layed it all on the line earlier that year and defeated the Tide.
"Been there done that"
Like I said, there was no consequence for the Tide...and that's troublesome for the victor on the road no less

I've been saying this for a while.

Alrighty, then. If you guys don't think the LSU players, coaches, and fans didn't want to get 3 in a row on Saban...get the crystal ball...and go undefeated for the first time in school history..we'll agree to disagree.
If the guys can't get up for whomever they are playing in the BCSNCG...ya'll have bigger problems than messed up QB play..

I wanted Alabama over an over rated Okie State team.. Although Okie State would have beat that LSU team that showed up last Monday I believe

Apparently you haven't played sports before or you lack the ability to put yourself in another person's point of view.

I agree, but if you cant get pumped to play the national championship then..........

You seemed okay with it here...

No, it is not.
LSU is a very run heavy team.
Alabama totally shut down the run.
LSU has trouble playing from behind via the passing game.
Alabama, in addition to totally stopping the run was putting very heavy pressure on the QB.
These are tangible things that led to the result in the BCSCG. In short, Alabama was able to do what no other team we p layed was able to do.
If LSU had been able to run the ball semi-effectively...and, as a result, was able to keep the game closer, this LSU team would have competed exactly the way it had all year. But, in this game, it was physically beaten. It wasn't a "debacle" of a coaching job (obviously not a great job either). It wasn't an issue of players not caring. It wasn't an issue of dissension between the players and the coaches.
It was tangible football issues. Alabama beat us. People don't want to admit what is staring them right in the face. Once Alabama was able to stop the run, it became CLEARLY, BY A LARGE MARGIN, the better team.
