Explain these two drills,
was in a conversation about them, and i want to know the exact definition of them.
Probably going to be burned for asking this.

Big Cat - one vs one meet in the hole, basically standing wrestiling match. whoever gets pushed backwards loses.
Tiger Drill - never heard of it

Big Cat Drill - There has been more made out of this than should have ever been made. It is just a hitting drill that Miles has implemented in order to give the appearance that LSU is getting more physical.
4th graders do this drill in Pop Warner.
I have no idea why this drill has gotten so much pub...

because its pretty bad arse to watch 2 D1 football players go one on one with each other.
but your right, watching this is like watching 2 pop warner kids go at it

UF calls it 'circle of life'. They also have matt drills which I think is more wrestling. Probably same as LSU, OK, etc, etc. Like someone said, meant to give the appearance toughness is being taught.

Nope. The Big Cat Drill is when two players go head up against each other and the one who gets pushed back loses.
The Oklahoma drill is when an offensive player blocks a defensive player head up and a running back behind the offensive lineman tries to get past the defensive lineman/linebacker. There is usually a coach behind the defensive player telling the lineman and back which way to go.

People on here jerk off to videos of the big cat drill. It's just a balance and strength drill that isn't anything new. Morons on here love it though.

It's easy to spot who did and didn't play organized football by looking at all those on here who are in 'awe' of these basic drills.

Did that description hit home?

Did the description of seeing you chase LSU fans around like a sad little stalker hit home? I don't really care to much for watching drills and what not, I'm more about what happens in scrimmages and on game day. However, I have no problem with die hard Tiger fans getting excited for football season and grabbing onto any info they can and feeding the hopes had of an upcoming season. That hope is easy to feed when you've had the success we've had the past 10 years
