Someone needs to get on there to remind them that under no circumstance should they let their 8 year old grand daughter venture to the ice cream concession alone. That always ends badly.

Not sure when the last time he was there, but Auburn has only 4 wins ever in Tiger Stadium, 1939, 1993, 1997, and 1999. Auburn won 2 other games in Baton Rouge (1901 and 1903). LSU has won 16 home games against Auburn in Tiger Stadium and 1 additional home game in 1902. So outside of the 3 to 1 record in the 1990s, Tiger Stadium has not been kind to Auburn.

This one is hilarious....
Here's another one with a little irony...
It is truly amazing how delusional these idiots are.
quote:
1) Get there as late as possible. Forget about tailgating at the stadium. It's way too dangerous. Taking a bus to the stadium is a really good way to get there.
2) Park in a lot that is protected by security. Also, it is better to go in a car that is devoid of any stickers or anything that would identify you as an Auburn fan. One other thing, make sure your car insurance is up to date, a rental car is advisable and get the insurance, or better yet, like I said, take a bus.
3) Try to be invisible entering and leaving the stadium. Do not try to talk to the LSU fans. Obnoxious does not even begin to explain these guys after they have been sitting around drinking all afternoon.
4) Leave the game as soon as you can and get out of town. Don't event think about sticking around in Baton Rouge unless you are looking for a fight.
5) If we should win, run to your car and leave even faster. Celebrate in New Orleans, Hattiesburg or somewhere else a long way from there.
6) Lastly, take a change of clothes. It is hot down there, there is no circulation in that stadium and since they fully enclosed it (yeah, in 1953), it is much worse. Also, the chances of getting something thrown on you is high, particularly leaving the stadium. We always take another shirt along just in case.
Here's another one with a little irony...
quote:
Laugh off the insults, yells of "TIGER MEAT!!!" (Makes no sense since we are tigers, but let it go), and the several hundred comments about our mascot/battle cry- after all these years they STILL can't wrap their peanut brains around that and some are just now discovering they can kid us about it. Bless their hearts they have ZERO wit and/or common sense. This from the fan base who cut and pasted from a story on Nebraska to come up with the "Corn Dog" idiocy!
It is truly amazing how delusional these idiots are.

If LSU starts to lose the game and you're in the AU section, WATCH for flying bottles be thrown in waves toward the AU section. AU won the game 2 of the 3 trips I made over there and the bottle came like rain each time.
Okay. Auburn last won in Baton Rouge in 1999. Anyone else at that game ? There couldn't have been more than 25,000 LSU fans still there after halftime. Anyone throwing bottles would have stuck out like a sore thumb. The 1997 game came down to the last minute.

Posted by RummelTiger Is there a lost section of Tiger Stadium that I've never seen? The stories about Tiger Stadium have taken on mythical proportions, but I guess that can be good...at times.
Exactly what I said. I was wondering where this section of the stadium was on game day.

I was there. My 6 year old son didn't have any bottles to throw at the Auburn people, so I taught him to be a real LSU fan and throw his toy cars.

No they were not fans, they were arse wipes. If they were identified, they should be banned from TS for life

And I don't find their tailgaters to be terribly hospitable either. The Gumps are way warmer and friendlier.

I brought my 13 year old son with me last year and every body that we past said I smell corndogs. My son asked me what it means and I told him It is some back arse Auburn joke that they don't even know.

We are sooo in their heads.
Get your piss balloons ready, boys. Gotta give them what they're coming to see...

Hey, if that thread convinces even one toothless pompom waver to stay in Spittle County, Alabama, rather than come to BR for the game, than in my opinion it's doing God's work.

Every school does.
