The Bianco Leak Strategy

While my educated guess is that the leak was done intentionally, I don’t think it was done to gauge people’s thoughts on the hire.
Leaking the information this early gives us time to process it and cool off so by the time they actually announce his name, there will be less fallout. Just my opinion, but it lends more support to the idea that Bianco is the guy.

Given the political animal that Woody is and also that LSU as a whole swims in a steaming pot of politics, I think that is a safe assumption.

Here's how I can rationalize it. Bianco is available and a lot of local former players are in his corner and want him here. Woody likes keeping everyone happy especially those who have been good brand ambassadors and gave Bianco an interview. The locals, however, are blowing that up into trying to get the public in favor of Bianco knowing that Woody, again, loves making his fanbase happy.

IMO. If they are hiring bianco or godwin, itll leak out between now and end of day tomorrow. If not by tomorrow, we are waiting on someone else or still vetting lots of options.

I think he's still waiting on a couple of interviews otherwise the trigger would have already been pulled on Bianco. Bianco appears to be the leader in the clubhouse which is concerning.

It would completely go against everything we know about Woody. He likes the big name hires that have won championships.
I also think he has a handle on all the legitimate leaks. It won’t be Bianco in my opinion. I know that’s not worth much but I’m sticking to it.

It's really not his style to divert anything . Hes straight up and tbh I think he may have pat casey leaked ,but not anyone else .
Todd walker comes on the tim fletcher show in Shreveport/bossier city every tuesday.
He answers questions when they are asked. He didnt even bring it up,they just asked him if he knew anything. He wasnt leaking on purpose for any reason, if he was he would have brought it up

Just because something is assumed to be leaked by the admin doesn't mean it was. If its not a diversion, then it still could be media fluff.

And I can promise you,if todd or scott,or anyone else asked him to leak biancos name ,for some reason ,it wouldnt be on the sports show in Shreveport that very very few people listen to it .

This was purposely leaked as a favor to Bianco to help him get more money out of Ole Piss.....nothing more than that.
