Reading through this, there is little chance you played college football.

I mean Honey Badger agrees with this supposed 90%. You think you know more about football than one of the best college players ever? A guy who will be in the NFL HOF?

His credentials are that he's the Head Coach. The OP is a goofball, but he is dead right on this one. Any head coach, regardless if he's a defensive specialist, has to be involved in the offensive strategy. The offensive and defensive strategies cannot exist independently of each other.

This reminds me of when Lane Kiffin was getting fired from USC. He was met on the tarmac and they were telling him he was fired and he responded “Our offense scored 45 points we are coming along!” And the AD responded “yeah but you gave up over 50. Again”

Why didnt we run screen passes against ucla?

We tried. Also I believe we didn't have enough faith in the play yet. We may not run a lot of screens. Watch other teams. Did you watch Arkansas/Texas? Did Arkansas run screens? Did we run a bunch of screens in 2019 To win 15 games? No we didn't. It's all about personnel and need.

Not only is LSU much better than 90% THINK they are but McNeese is also much better than 90% of the people here THINK they are. Lastly 90% don't understand why we lost to UCLA. As a walk on I used to volunteer to help in the film room to assist the coaches to breakdown plays. Gave me a tremendous insight into understanding REALLY why plays work and don't work. Why you can and cannot run certain plays based on the personnel you have versus who you are playing. What the "fans" see versus what coaches see is light years apart

When you know sooooo much about football that you’re functionally a fricking retard. Congratulations, we sure did look phenomenal in that 38-7 win the mental gymnastics that “football experts” can come up with is embarrassing

But wait I thought we ran it? Now you’re saying we don’t have enough faith in the play/execution of the play to run it?

We don’t want a lot of screens. We want A screen

You mean the team that absolutely bludgeoned Texas for 300 yards of rushing offense?

We ran WR screens in addition to RB swing passes. Not every screen HAS to be middle screen behind the O-Line in the traditional sense. However you don’t realize that because you haven’t seen a play call or offensive gameplan since teams started using 3 WR’s much less 5

What do you know about West Fla? No opinion on why we didn't run screen passes?

You keep saying we are all stupid and you know the answers, but you won’t educate us so we can better understand what is really happening.

Sounds like you are full of shite and have no idea why LSU did t run more screen passes.

In reality as a former college football player 90% of fans know very little about football.

Define ‘very little’. I assume you just made this statistic up. You’re full of shite. More and more coaches are coming up through the ranks that have zero playing experience.

Only thing worse than a kicker running their mouth is a walk on running their mouth.

Oh no what's a lot worse is someone who doesn't know that metallic taste you get in your mouth when you get the snot knocked out of you by a linebacker or safety who runs his mouth football.

BTW when you put a jock on the skinny part goes in the back not the front. In your case the skinny part in the front could work.

Screen passes are complicated and are for veteran lineman and backs. Save that for when we play Fla, Abu and Bama. Our backup OL need to run fundamental plays to get in sync and get experience.

This is BS and shows you know nothing

If you are going to need these plays vs better competition, why not actually work on them in real game situation vs McNeese?

This is the same secret playbook crap we used to hear about when Miles was here.

The OP sounds like a douchebag, but most of the great football coaches were not much more than walkons if that.
