Case in point, on the fourth down play you could clearly they were stacked on the right side with ears pinned back and coming. He never moved the running back over in protection and got covered up right after he snapped it.

This times a million. Seeing him and this team play in person for the first time this season, this is spot on.

I don’t know why Brad Davis seemingly gets a pass around here. The OL has not looked good at all since he took over.

It’s hard to hold those blocks for 5-6 seconds

On half the catches they caught, they had to jump in the air and bring it down. The defenders always were allowed to catch up. JD's best pass was the thrown to Taylor where he was downed at the 1 yd line. Most of the others were either slightly off-target or highly off-target. Yes, the WR's dropped some passes but they also made catches that were poorly thrown as well. How on earth can a WR group be efficient when JD doesn't have the arm strength or accuracy to consistently get the ball?

The #1 problem is the QB position and it isn’t even close!

LOL. Daniels wasn't the problem today. he was waay better throwing the ball to covered receivers and did it with ZERO running game today. So yes the OLine was the problem. You cannot win much less play a team like UT without your starting guard and tackle. We aren't there yet. And you damn sure can't give UT the ball inside your 25 yrd line twice in the first qtr. That was also the problem. JD is down the list. Yes he missed a couple but he hit #10 in stride for what would have been a TD near end of first half but it was dropped. Don't hear any of you saying anything about that. Would have been 20 - 14 game on. I still don't think we would have beaten TN today. They are a very good team but I think it would have been closer. LSU fans are clueless.

I'm glad someone else watched the same game that I was watching. After reading the Scoreboard and Rant I was beginning to think that I had watched an alternate game.

To put it bluntly, this game was lost by the Tigers on the line of scrimmage.

Absolutely bullshite. The o-line picked up many blitzes and gave Daniels plenty of time.

The original o line has played much better.

Campbell
Dellinger
Turner
Bradford
Jones.

You can win games with that o line.

It’s an issue

Losing Dellinger AND Campbell didn’t help any of our other problems.

correct.

Too many morons on this board don’t even understand what they’re watching.

We were missing 2 O line starters and they struggled. No running game at all.

But it’s too easy to just blame the QB. (who, by the way, went 32-45 for 300 yards)

He held the ball and didn’t throw receivers open. Yes he did try to throw into coverage IN THE SECOND HALF. Go rewatch the freaking game.

We were missing 2 OL on the left side, i can have some patience witg some bad blocking at times.
But JD is standing in the pocket for 4 sec at times. JD had some great timing passes where the ball was out in 1 to 2 sec.
But in general he just sits and waits and looks for a WR. He cant learn to put the ball in the air at the cut. He waits till the route is completed and the tries to figure out where to throw.

I will say the OL looked terrible in the run game

The line isn’t perfect but how many times did they protect Daniels and all he did was take off? It happens every game.
