It was one thing when it basically never happened but seems like it's been a frequent thing here as of late.

It never should have happened and the only reason it does is to feed the egos of some boomers that think it’s 1998. Their Facebook posts about how classy they are must be epic.

I don't think the victory laps have anything specifically to do with older people. The first time we saw this happen was the Stony Brook thing. There has always been a culture here about sportsmanship, which I think is great, in most cases. But victory laps for your opponents kind of defeats the purpose of home field advantage, in my opinion. That's making other teams feel too comfortable when they come here.
Again, though, I don't think it's a "boomers" issue. I think it's a certain reputation that the general fan base feels it has to uphold (horror stories invented by Cajun fans, notwithstanding).
